***Official 2017 NCAA Hoops Tourney thread: Congrats UNC, all the refs from NCCG should be banned for life*** (1 Viewer)

Can't believe they hold both titles in the same year.  So cool.

Their sports programs and facilities are really on another level compared to other Div II programs.

Loved my time in Maryville.

When I don't have a rooting interest, I usually pull for the underdog. But I think I'd really like to see Gonzaga make the Final Four. If Xavier wins today, I'll be pulling for them in their games going forward.

I don't have a lean in the KU/Oregon game - either wins, I'm fine with. Maybe a slight pull for Oregon just because they have (much, much) less legacy than Kansas.

Congrats BF, had to pull for your squad as they ousted my alma mater in the region finals (Sweet 16).  After (two or three?) straight losses in that regional final game vs Augie, it's cool that they made it into the Elite Eight and won the tourney on Augie's home turf.

So fired up to watch my alma mater play for the final four!!!  25 years ago nobody had heard of our school.  Hell, it wasn't till Casey Calvary tipped that miss back in that we got on the map.  Really would like to see the monkey off Fews back, though Xavier is hard to root against.

Flight schedule actually worked out, Polaris lounge and then Directv on the flight.   ???

Well, I mean, there's also the two football titles since Leonard Hamilton got hired at FSU but that hardly seems relevant. Plus you guys got one too!
Do you want to talk about things since Jimbo Fisher got hired and you all became Arkansas-level irrelevant, or just focus on the Tebow days and your much more successful basketball program? I would dwell on the past too if I were a gator football fan, although the past really only consists of a run of 15 years.

Hopefully this tourney cheers you up in the fall when we're ranked in the top-5 and you all are in the outback bowl/Birmingham again. Is there another Purdue transfer warning up at QB?

Who does Gonzaga lose after this season? How about incoming?

Casey Calvary.  Holy ####, haven't thought about that name in a million years.
It wasn't just Calvary.  Frahm and Santanlego were good players too.  They've had a ton of good players there over the years.  Those Blake Stepp and Dan Dickau teams were fun and then the Turiaf/Morrison teams too.  I really would like to see them finally reach a Final Four.  Great program.

Matthews and Karnowski are the seniors.  Rumors Collins might be a one and done but hopefully he will come back and be the focal point in the middle.  No idea if NWG is a good enough NBA prospect to leave early.

As a Pitt State grad I typically hate all things Northwest, but that is a great accomplishment. Congrats!

Way to represent the midwest and do the MIAA proud!

You my boy, Blue!

Didn't count.  Imagine if they'd gotten 5 points in two successive possessions off that ball bouncing off the ground and then that.

Ducks balling out here. Look awesome. Haven't really seen them play much all season. All the bounces going their way. They need to build this lead, can't see them being this hot all game.

Mason is a beast.

Fun 1st half, but you know Kansas will make some runs and make this close.   Bell is quickly becoming my favorite Duck this year, although Dorsey and Brooks are studs as well.

Kansas getting outplayed on both ends of the floor. Not sure they win this one. Oregon looks to be the better team tonight.
