***Official 2017 NCAA Hoops Tourney thread: Congrats UNC, all the refs from NCCG should be banned for life*** (3 Viewers)

There's something intrinsically difficult about playing in the quarterfinals?

Maybe they're just having a crummy game against a good team?
After this game, Bill Self will be 2-7 in the elite 8. He has won 72% of his tournament games otherwise.

And as a long time KU fan, they DO tighten up in the elite 8 for whatever reason.

So I dont know, but like I have said, we have seen this before.

Oregon needs to play their game for a few more minutes.  This run the clock and take a terrible shot is gonna burn them.  Kansas will eventually knock down a couple threes in a row.

"Longest span between Final Four appearances" ... Yeah, tough to get much longer than the first one and the current one.

KU fell in love with the three when it wasn't working. Think the end of the first half killed them. 6-0 run in last 40 seconds swung momentum.

Depending on the UK game, the one and done phenomenon hasn't looked good. If UNC wins, there might be only one first round pick in the F4 (Justin Jackson).

That's a 9 game sample against good teams.

Congrats on a fine season KU.  I thought it would take a miracle for Oregon to win tonight.  Was not a miracle, but a ridiculously good game from Bell and KU going cold at the wrong time.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Nice win, Oregon.  Wow.  They're better than last season.

So in compliance with the terms of their plea bargains, do the Kansas players have to return to custodial detention now?
