*Official 2017 Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles* - Parade of Champions Down Broad Street! (1 Viewer)

I got em at -6      :(      but still not too worried.  This is a statement game on primetime for the Eagles.  It's such a completely different Seahawks team than what we've been used to.
Ah man hope you waited, it’s posted on my site at -4. The sharps in Vegas hammered Seattle +6 immediately.

Was at the game today. Atmosphere at the Linc is just awesome. Could’ve done without the turnovers obviously but damn this team is just so much fun to watch.  Couldn’t do anything but laugh at the two bears fans we passed on the way out who had nothing to say but “how many Super Bowls do you have?”
Did you ask how many rank 4 duped 5-stars they had and then laugh at them?

It's interesting though - you go to the individual 'league leaders' stats page, and not an Eagle to be seen anywhere.  Go to the Team stats page, and Eagles are at or near the top of every list.

Has to be a pain to game plan against.  Who do you take away?  Where do you attack?

Except for Carson I assume. He leads the league in TD passes. And Ertz

Good thing, Vikings schedule the next 2 games is just at bad, if not harder.  @Falcons, @Panthers.  Would be nice if they drop one of those so we have breathing room to drop one of ours as well.

These blowouts though...

last 4 games, not a close one in the bunch.  We won a bunch of close ones early, now we're just face stomping teams.

31-3

37-9

51-23

33-10

Browns' fans cheer Tim Couch concussion, Jets' fans cheer an injury to Chad Pennington, now the Niners.  Remember these everytime someone brings up Philly fans supposedly cheering Irvin.

49ers miffed fans were cheering C.J. Beathard’s injury

ETA: because I guarantee you won't see this brought up on SC time after time.
My thought on this has always been, most people cheer because of the ramifications (The stud is out of the game or the backup gets to play) and not the actual injury.

It's understandable the trepidation. We're a scarred fanbase. But this team is different. They buck the trends of our history. They laugh in it's face. They keep doing things were not expecting in a good way.

I do feel confident going into Seattle this week. We should destroy that team as they are currently constructed.
I am too and can't wait. I had thought Sea was after The Rams and I didn't realize it's a SNF game. Even better. We get to embarrass them on National TV. I work at ACME now use to A&P and ALbertson who owns us has stores out West as far as SEA. After we renovated the store for a full week closed of coarse we had to get the deliveries of all the products ACME sells. We had about 8 Trucks 12-13 pallets filled coming in. Anyway these guys from Sea came in all wearing their Seattle gear. It was honestly sickening. My one manager said to me I wonder how many of these guys gave a dam about the team prior to the success? What makes them more unbearable is I just hate Pete Carrol.

And Eagles fans cheered when Inman got up and was ok. Screw the media and screw everyone that hates us. I'm already in an ugly civil war with my wife's snotty Seattle bandwagon jumping fans. Those pansies have shoved it down my throat about their team for 6 years and the 8 years before that I never knew they were even fans. They don't get my passion. I said it's a "Philly thing--you wouldn't understand" I'll tell you they are only one step above obnoxious Dallas fans.

You know what? Keep hating on us. Keep bringing up santa. I hate you back and more. I've respected Seattle for the dominant bully they've been. They've been the team that scares me most (Rodgers is the player who scares me most) but it's OUR TIME NOW!

That spin move by Wentz and the rush for a first down, don't think I've seen a 6'5 man move that fast in my life. You aren't supposed to have that agility at that size.
Biased people who can't hope off a certain guys jock in Carolina would tell you differently. Difference and there's a ton is Carson isn't some Gimmick QB. He's big but he's athletic. It's why people compared him a bit to Luck who was big but the dude could run and was athletic when he's healthy. Wentz has the football mind of Peyton, the Athleticism of Vick, the size of Big Ben and a Favre type arm. Those are some great things to have. People worry about Wentz taking hits but I see him as a Big Ben. Guy who's gonna get beat up but would play it out with a broken finger or sprained ankle. The Kid is tough and also real which is why people love him. I thought the NFL network special Longshots of the Eagles with Wentz/Pederson/Roseman there was a subtle shot thrown at Wentz and Philly saying he wasn't the type of athlete we root for? Really he's everything in an athlete we want. He's blue collard, he's good, he takes accountability for himself and wants to get better, he's tough and he's as real as you can be. People especially other athletes have a poor misconception of this town. Yeah we'll hate you if you're a Sam Bradford type but if you go out and play hard and be real with the fans they'll love ya even if you aren't the greatest player. We aren't a city who likes rooting for the Jay Cutlers, Crosby's and Buster Posey's of athletes. Do you job well and play hard and be accountable for yourself and be real with us and the city will root for you. It also helps if you are really good because if you lead us to a title me might erect a statue or two up of you as well.

i hope Doug can keep them focused and not let their heads get too big. there are signs here and there, but thankfully they aren't showing in their play at all. which is possible, but is a fine line to balance. just saw this, and with the fumbles and silly penalties today i'm hoping Doug pulls them back in. just saw this:  https://www.instagram.com/p/Bb-sX2yA3vW/?taken-by=bleacherreport

to be honest, and i know i am thinking too far ahead, but the single biggest worry i have with this team right now is that they secure the #1 spot with a few weeks to go, take the foot off the gas a bit. then they have their bye, and they come out so flat or not focused enough that they make their 1st playoff game a lot harder then it needs to be. hopefully i am worrying about nothing here, but young coach and younger team it is very possible that it can be a concern
I get your point but it kind of gets boring when there no competition being thrown at you for weeks. It gets boring winning by 30+ every week.

Found this stat in the Twitterverse

The 140 yards of offense #Eagles D allowed were fewest in a single game since 12/1/96 vs. N.Y. Giants (121 yards). The 6 rushing yards was the fewest rushing yards allowed in a single game since 1950.

Well, we've reached the two week run where we'll find out just how good this team is.  Seattle is 7-4 despite their injuries. And Russell Wilson is a candidate for MVP.  Seattle may be the most hostile stadium in the league for opposing quarterbacks. It'll be a great test for Wentz.  And LA looked great against the Saints yesterday. They are the real deal. Goff (#1 pick of 2015 draft) against Wentz (#2 pick) is an interest dynamic.  They could end up being the 'Brady vs Manning' of the next decade.

Obviously looking for 2-0 to maintain home field advantage throughout the playoffs. But 1-1 wouldn't be bad as long as we played well doing it.
And both are in the same conference which is great for the NFL. It's nice having a real QB in here again and franchise guy. Not some guy who can run and has a huge arm or some gimmicky option clown or anything of the sorts.

Reminds me of when Italy won the 06 WC. They simple dominated the competition. Only goal from run of play (No set piece or dead ball corner kick, PK etc) without a stoppage was an own goal to the USA in the Group stage. Not a single Italian player had more then 3 goals and most had either 1 or 2 goals. They played amazing defense and got the goals when it mattered and it didn't matter who it was. I love teams like this because it just shows what a team effort it is.

I had a coworker tell me that he hopes Philly goes one-and-out in the p[layoffs because the players are all clowning around and acting like they already have the Super Bowl locked up. lol  He also said that Eagles fans never won a thing and now we're all acting like it's a guarantee that we will get a ring this year.  I told him that nothing could be farther from the truth. I can't speak for all fans, but I'm holding my breath just waiting for something tragic to happen to end this dream of a season. I watch every Viking, Saint, and Rams game trying to figure out if we are better than them.  I have yet to see one post in this thread where anyone even suggested that we the favorites to win it all.  I told him that if he hates the Eagles because it's assumed they will win it all, it's in his mind that he thinks they are the favorites. Not because Eagles fans are running their mouths about it.

Boston fans take the cake these days in obnoxiousness. I was up there a year ago visiting my cousin as my cousin (His brother) and I stopped there on our way to a camping trip up in Maine as my brothers friend from school pretty well off and family had a house up there by a lake (Don't remember where). Boston fans made Dallas fans look tame. I couldn't believe some of the stuff coming from these Boston fans. Some pretty racist things as well and no one was off limits Blacks Italians, Jews, Muslims etc. Don't get me started on how they act about the Patriots. According to them there's.a league wide conspiracy to get their team and everyone just hates them because they want to be them. My cousin at the time lived 5 mins from Gillete Stadium and literally had to move because of it. Also because he was able to get a place closer to work. His Work btw is 10 mins from Aaron Hernandez House.

The Eagles have outscored its opponents 152-45 over the last 4gms. They have won by 28pts in each of the last 3. The Eagles scoring margin of plus-160 (+160) is the largest in the NFL.

Is this a typo? Are we sure this wasn't the STL Rams or The Patriots? Good god these are amazing #s

Let me guess he's probably a Cowgirls or Giants fan right? My One department Manager is a Giants fan trying to hope on the Eagles bandwagon right now. It's pathetic listening to him. He's extremely obnoxious too.

when does Sunday night football get to pick their games? I thought it was after Thanksgiving, that Eagles-Rams game seems to be a perfect game for national sunday night

Plus 4 doesn't seem like enough for the Seahawks.

The fact that they are currently the 7th seed does seem to favor them. It's kinda of a must win game for them as the NFC South looks to host 2 wildcards.

But this keeps me excited.

I think we roll into Seattle and take care of business.

@Deamon quit being a pu55y. The only other loss I see this season is week 17. I think we rise to this challenge and win the next 3 games.

You do know that the line is set to get equal money on both sides, right? The oddsmakers aren't trying to predict how much the Eagles will win by. Sorry. That came off snarky. Just trying to explain why the line seems less than what it should be.

Fox might protect it though. That's a perfect 4:25 game.

This is what I been saying. I don't think we lose again this season. 18-1
I do really believe this.  It will take another teams best game and our worst all around game to stop us now and I don't think both those things are going to happen at the same time.  Another thing that goes into my thinking is our competition.  Look around the league.  There are not many great teams. I don't see another team killing in all three phases like we are right now.  Only thing that scares me is I hope we haven't peaked too early.

I’ve been pretty high on the Eagles but your second sentence seems like a bit of an exaggeration.  The Eagles are the best team in the NFL but there are several teams that could beat them even if the Eagles aren’t playing their “worst all around game”.  If they face the Patriots in the super bowl, I would anticipate a nail biter.  Likewise if they face any of the top NFC teams in the NFC championship game.  Maybe I’m underestimating the Eagles.  Probably find out in a couple weeks

Get out of here with your reasonable logic!

for me, one week at a time is fun enough. at this point the only way i think i will be dissapointed is if we don't get a win in the playoffs. This Eagles team isn't that far from their 61-yard last minute FG to beat the Giants. Not saying the team isn't the best in the NFL, just saying they can't come into any game any sleep walk. Doug doesn't get enough credit for having these guys focused every week at this point

Hey I’m a Steelers fan living in Philly (almost 12 years).  It took a while but this city has grown on me.  I have a lot of friends who are Eagles fans.  I think I would have a feeling of relief if this team wins it all.  I just know (as a Steelers fan) that the Patriots are looming and you don’t ever want to count that team out.

Heard depending on if Bal wins or not tonight. If you want Rams/Eagles Sun night root for The Texans tonight. Baltimore I believe plays Pittsburgh I believe next week on SNF.

I hope its not the Falcons game I think the Falcons are the Eagles biggest problem in the NFC. Im guessing they get in even if the lose to the Vikings but Im still hoping they dont make it in.
