*Official 2017 Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles* - Parade of Champions Down Broad Street! (3 Viewers)

Since it's a home game, I'm not too worried, but bears have been pretty pesky.  Ask the Steelers about it.  Wife is a Steelers fan and was super pissed after I told her that would be an easy one for pitt.
Pittsburgh has been playing down to opponents in recent years.  Esp on the road.  It's more their fault then the bears doing anything special.  I think the bears threw the ball like ten times in that game

My wife has a whole side of her family that moved to Seattle from update New York about 25 years ago. I've known them for 13 years. I never heard a PEEP about the Seahawks. I think they were Bills fans and one was a friggin' cowboys fan. As soon as they got on that run with Carroll, I never heard the end it. Of course I raised the issue of them jumping their natural born allegences. They think I'm irrational with my Eagles fandom and also defended Chip Kelly to me constantly after it was clear he'd cratered the team.

Yeah, I can't wait for the Birds to CRUSH them!
I belong to another board baseball wise off topic wise we talked different sports. I remember maintaining that Sea fans didn't give a dam about the Seahawks for yrs. These fools argued attendance as why my argument didn't work. I said I think I'll take my cousin who's lived there for the last 15 yrs in and out from SF over some people who have never been there and just arguing fan attendance with me. I love coming here to talk sports in general. I feel I can go talk to the guys about the 76ers without being viewed a hater. I feel people here if you disagree with them at least the group of people in here and I've talked to in the Sixers thread at least respect me having a different view point. Where as the board I have posted for yrs on you disagree with the "Veterans" of the group and they attack you like no other. I got invited to write for a local Philly sports blog and the guy was excited to have someone not a Sixers fan give their view on the team as like an outsiders respective. I didn't post there at all though because after I got invited to the board I found some issues there by other bloggers including an ex blogger of the site who is a good friend of mine. I decided tell the guy I wasn't interested and lied and said I got a new job where I wasn't gonna really be able to write ever. Either way I like the members of this site a lot more. The football talk wise everyone I feel I talk to I don't have to dumb stuff down for. The atmosphere at least in the threads I go too is very welcoming and such

Hmm, just showed on csn that each of our ol is in the top 5 per Pff except vaitai.  Peters was number 2 lt. damn.
They show a small spot on SNF each week when introducing the starters of where they rank on PFF. They also went over the Eagles Line rankings sometime in the 2nd half

From NFL.com:

Carson Wentz has bloomed into a raging star this season -- and fans have taken notice.

The second-year quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles leads all players with 273,367 fan votes for the 2018 Pro Bowl, the NFL announced Wednesday.

Wentz also leads the league with 25 touchdown passes, while the Eagles sit atop all challengers with a 9-1 mark during a breakout year for the franchise and their talented quarterback.

Ageless Patriots passer Tom Brady lands second with 239,989 votes, ahead of Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell (227,771), Rams runner Todd Gurley (215,687) and Pittsburgh wideout Antonio Brown (215,584).

Too bad he won't be able to play

Thanks for not lying to us.

Dak isn’t the Cowboys’ problem. Let’s hope Garrett isn’t axed because he does next to nothing to inspire concern.
I agree about Garrett. He's a puppet though. Jerrah won't let them have a strong coach. I really don't have anything against Dak and most of my bashing is the product of his fans and the media placing him on a pedestal he doesn't deserve but these last two games he's really really bad. No way around that. He can't seem to make a p,any on his own without perfect conditions.

Anyway, what a fine thanksgiving sitting back and watching that while eating several pieces of pumpkin pie and oh yeah--I had Rivers and Allen in my lineup  :excited:

I lucked out. Only faced Allen and Thielen. Guy sat Rivers, Chargers defense and benched Rod Smith last second. I could be down 135 already but thankfully it's only 60.

Just like the Andy years
Cowboys are better than they have looked the past 2 weeks but their flaws are really getting exposed.  Dak is getting exposed.  If we play this right we can run this division for the foreseeable future.  Redskins and Giants don't know who their QB will be.  They don't have a plan.  Probably go through coaching changes as well.

Cowboys never seem to have depth.  When they're healthy (or not suspended) they get 10+ wins, a few key injuries and they're terrible.  Shows how bad their GM/owner/coaching is.  But enough about those bums, bring on the Bears!   :football:

There is no way all these Cowboy struggles can be blamed on losing Elliot though.  He's good, and he makes everyone around him better (apparently unlike Dak), but there's more.  Teams getting film on Dak and adjusting accordingly is probably more the reason lately.  Still, it's just a bad stretch of games - he has games he's done very well this year, so it still remains to be seen if he can rebound.

Agreed.  You don't go nearly 3 full games without scoring a TD just because you lost a linebacker and a running back.  Remember, this was supposed to be Dak's showcase for how its not all Zeke and he can carry the team.  Didn't go as planned.

Rams. Need some breathing room with NO. I have a feeling saints hammer them. And then so will we. Saints and Vikings are the teams to worry about most.
Washington really should have won that game. NO showed some grit to come back, but 90% of teams wouldn't have given up 14 points or whatever it was in 3:00. Also b.s. call with that Cousins intentional grounding that cost them the FG attempt for the game. I still think NO is the biggest obstacle as well, but there are chinks in their armor that a significantly banged-up Skins team handled fine

Redskins got hosed in that game

I'm shocked that he's this bad. Knew he'd miss D'ene, buy her terrible now. Wth happened?
His coaches do him no favors but honestly he was never a QB who could BE THE GUY like Ben, Brady, Rodgers, etc who could carry the team on their back and make the guys around him better. It's why he went where he did in the draft. Look at the Packers skill players with and without Rodgers. Jordy Nelson is almost not worth rostering in Fantasy without Rodgers. However I won't say Prescott is a terrible QB. I've seen the guy play his college career and was never all that impressed with him. A lot of people just underestimated the lack of Zeke in the line up while overestimating the entire team including the coach.

Lucky I've played two guys with worse records who now suddenly they have guys putting up 20 and 30 plus a week. The one guy I played was 2-6 just traded for Allen. This week I had a guy with a worse record who had Theilen and Sanu

Fighting for top seed and the bye. Last place team put Allen on the block. Sent a very strong offer only to have the second place team, my opponent this week, snag Allen instead.

Saints lost their linebacker and both starting corners.  Their improved defense is why the saints were suddenly a contender this year. I think today's defense is going to be more like the Saints defense we are used to. I can see the Rams game being a high-scoring old fashioned the Saints game. Would love to see the Rams pull it out.

Eagles win and Saints loss puts the Eagles 3 games up with the conference record tie breaker factored in. Huge day for the Eagles.

Yes this looks like a game the saints should lose

Where's the guy who was saying that Prescott is better than Wentz? He seems to have disappeared since Thanksgiving. I hope he's okay. ;)

Dam that sucks. I did manage to get Perine for Benjamin in my keeper league. Kelvin hasn't done much and I don't expect him too and Perine already has 2 100 yard games plus should get some more Pass catching plays which is great for my PPR league. I did pick up Funchess and Robby Anderson plus McCown in FA in prior weeks to sore up my WR and back up QB after Rodgers went down and started Wentz. Also dropped Den D for LAR and managed to snag Dion Lewis and McKinnon in FA

You guys see the clip of Peters limping out with the other captains for the coin toss? The announcers mentioned how he's still active in the locker room and is staying at the facilty to tutor Big V. Everything you need to know about the bond and character of this team is encapsulated right there!

There was a report a week or so ago on Peters mentoring Big V actually

I guess the word is that they are working on an extension for bradham.  That only leaves Alshon and the whole team is back together for next year,

Idiot Vegas Vick in the local paper picked Chicago to cover. Maybe if Andy was still here as this is the type of game he'd lay an egg on once or twice a year. Not this team. Chicago beat some good teams and has been in every game and they just got murdered.

I can't wait for the Seattle game. Other than Dallas this is the one I want MOST!!!

Not happy with the ball security today. Ball hit the ground too many times, and Carson missed high several times. The score was great, but I'm not sure that sloppy play wins in LA

Loved hearing about the #11. Last four Eagles teams to go 9-1 went to the Championship game. The two Championship teams the QB wore #11
