Outside of falling behind to a quality Japan team, Belgium hasn't done much wrong this tournament and a lot right.  I know they are talented but so is Germany - you have to give Martinez some of the credit unless he does something obviously stupid to lose this game (or one of the final 2).

Had to watch the first game delayed - felt like France was always in control.  Despite his knuckle ball goal I thought Griezmann was poor.  Felt like he had a few opportunities in the first half to open up the Uruguay defense and either he made the wrong decision or his touch was off.  Definitely not like him but stood out to me.

Conte was just outstanding - just a fantastic player who knows his role, accepts it and then executes it to perfection.

I worded that poorly - it's not a surprise that we only have Euro teams left - it is a surprise that two of those left are Russia and Sweden.
