It’s all about set-pieces.

Yeah, he is not going to be playing in Argentina again next year.I like Quintero's game.
He could end up in MLS.Yeah, he is not going to be playing in Argentina again next year.
Why on Earth is Trippier taking a free kick from that distance with the talent on that squad?
Really no other Free Kick takers from that distance.Based on post volume in this thread I'm on point here.I have to miss the first hour.
If this tournament is true to form only the last 15 min matters, must have taken cue from NBA.
Just outside the box and you don't want Kane taking that? Is this some kind of secret Spurs thing I don't know about?Really no other Free Kick takers from that distance.
He has a pretty sweet free kick. His service is excellent and he puts good power on it.Why on Earth is Trippier taking a free kick from that distance with the talent on that squad?
I was at Colombia v Chile 2016 Copa semifinal in Chicago - by far the greatest spectacle of female sports fans I've ever experienced.New crush: Female Colombian World Cup fans.
Kane is not really a free-kick taker. Doesn't take them often for Spurs. Eriksen takes most.Just outside the box and you don't want Kane taking that? Is this some kind of secret Spurs thing I don't know about?
Colombia also is has the finest asses in latin america imo.I was at Colombia v Chile 2016 Copa semifinal in Chicago - by far the greatest spectacle of female sports fans I've ever experienced.
Hard to top those Iranians, but I like the effort.I was at Colombia v Chile 2016 Copa semifinal in Chicago - by far the greatest spectacle of female sports fans I've ever experienced.
Further out, sure. But that was 10 yards from the box and a perfect distance to put on goal.He has a pretty sweet free kick. His service is excellent and he puts good power on it.
the team has looked WAY better with RLC in that spot.Pretty bummed with the amount of time Ali has been on the ball. Not nearly enough
Yeah, he's pretty poor from that exact same distanceKane is not really a free-kick taker. Doesn't take them often for Spurs. Eriksen takes most.
Look I love Kane, and he can take a free kick - but surely you can find something more recent than 4 years ago!!...and set pieces, no?The key to this match is ball control and taking advantage of opportunities.

It was the first one that came up.Look I love Kane, and he can take a free kick - but surely you can find something more recent than 4 years ago!!
psst - he missed those.
And if that's really the case (assuming Kane is that bad at it), then that's embarrassing. SOMEONE has to have some goal scoring quality less than 10 yards from the box on a free kick.Really no other Free Kick takers from that distance.
Trippier has the technique on his kick to be a great free kick taker. Especially close to goal when you need some up and down or swerve. I hope he gets a few more chances. It was the first one that came up.
Here's another
And another
I mean, he may not do it often, but if you're that close and you're going to put it on goal, then how can he not be your choice if your teammate Eriksen isn't there to take it?
Trippier has scored a grand total of 1 goal since the start of the 2014/2015 season. This isn't Leighton Baines we're talking about here. So considering Kane has scored at least the same number of goals on free kicks that Trippier has over the last 4 years, then, well....
I know he missed. They were great free kicks even without scoring.psst - he missed those.
Trippier is fine for shot from the left side.
I thought he was pretty active in the first half.Sterling is really just a waste of space on this team.
Pep deserves all the plaudits he gets for turning Sterling into a serviceable player.
From which distance?Who's England's best free kick taker? Any ideas?
lol @ that coach claiming Sterling ran into him
