***OFFICIAL*** 2019 Cakeleeg - Standings update? (1 Viewer)

There were 15-17 uncontested closers available, I think 15 went.

I got two
i agree with this assessment and even the established guys have ?????

i hope leclerc can build on last year, but he’s no sure thing.  chapman and jansen get hurt, giles and osuna changed teams, diaz too.  yates is a who knows.  hand changed teams.  i wanted iglesias with davis, but hopefully leclerc is the real deal.

The only problem I see with Leclerc is limited save opportunities for the Rangers to be leading in the ninth inning. Even so he should get 25-30.

i hate this closer ####, but damn if i have to chase saves every day.  my least favorite thing is chasing saves, which is next to finishing last every year.

I totally agree wth you. Its why I took at the turn when I knew I was going to have to wait another 28 picks to fill the other slots on my team. ts really difficult to watch 28 guys go off the board and not be able to do anything about it.

After having 1 relief pitcher go in the first 90 picks 15 of the last 21 picks have been relief pitchers! Now thats what I  call a closer run!

7 of the 15 drafted won't be their team's closer by the middle of August.  It's like the divorce rate in this country; holding steady at 50%....

Shuke, it’s Sunday night. And I had some grits. Simmer down.

Jonathan Villar, truly sucks, Baltimore

absolutely true, which is why i look for guys entrenched in the role.  davis isn’t going anywhere with that contract and has no competition.  leclerc, not so much.  if he has a bad game or 3, i could see him done for the year.

Villar was removed from Sunday's game against Detroit due to soreness

  in his pinky finger

I'm no baseball nerd or anything but that might be the worst pick since Joe Alexander.

Yeah you had to google it didn't you
Joe Alexander played hoops for West Virginia.

We know Villar sucks. He got drafted because steals is a stupid category and he’s good at that.

That's a southern thing. Corned beef and hash is equally as bad, I feel like English and Irish people who are cuisine deaf, made us this way.

I like biscuits and gravy though with a lot of passion.  Thanks Confederacy!!!!!
Man you must have had some bad grits. Cooked with stock and milk and butter and cheese and they’re unbeatable.

Have you had shrimp and grits from a southern belle who has made it her whole life and uses bacon grease and sharp white cheddar?  If not, I highly suggest you try and reconsider your stance on grits.
