Its more about losing the DH slot.  If he hits then all pitchers need to hit all game.  Still think they should do it at least sometimes.

Its more about losing the DH slot.  If he hits then all pitchers need to hit all game.  Still think they should do it at least sometimes. 

MLB should go to the college/high school rule for this and allow dual positions in the lineup.  Meaning, they can list Ohtani as a the P and DH.  So essentially he is DH for himself.  That way when the pitcher Ohtani is pulled the batter Ohtani stays in as a DH.  It gives more flexibility.

Also, he will hit in games he is the SP for interleague in National League parks...….
