17.03 Tommy Pham - Stab Victim - Shukies

this guy was supposed to be in the bees' knees, then he got stabbed outside a strip club.  Thought he'd be in his early 20s.

He's thirty ####### five!!!

Some of us are late bloomers to the strip club community. Some of us have to be married for a decade then get single again. I mean yeah, you dip your toes in the pool in your early 20s, but you aren't going to do anything until you have that 30s adult money to make bad, get you stabbed choices.

Of course Pham had baseball money from early on, so not sure his excuse.

I was going to draft him days ago, but uh.....elbow soreness and being shut down scared me off.
Rays are saying it isn’t a big deal, which I guess what else are they gonna do, but I read that they were only going to let him pitch 120 innings this year anyhow so what difference does it make if he gets them now or starting in late May.

i don’t have anyone projected to hit 200 innings.  maybe alcantara.  175 is the new 200.  maybe we should change from innings to pitches limit?

and pitching is the only repetitive action i can think of where it’s been deemed doing less is helpful.  arms are gonna explode no matter what.  just have every wanna be pitcher get a tommy john surgery before age 18 and let’s move on.

Yea I’m not a pitching expert but it seems like the higher velocity and spin rates is doing more to hurt arms than the actual innings pitched.
