(Probably) agreed, not sold TCU can afford a loss unless USC also loses, but it's a five horse race. Next weekend is just all about avoiding UGA round 1.

This is where I'm leaning as well. OSU needs USC to lose next week. I think USC plays Utah next week if Washington wins tonight or Oregon if Washington loses tonight. If USC wins out, they're #4.

Just bought my tickets for the PAC-12 championship. I’d be rooting for Washington State tonight if GM had committed to coming out to Vegas with the Ducks. But since he passed, I’m hoping it’s Utah. That game was absolutely epic earlier this season and I’d love to see them match up again in the championship.

A conservative approach that's reliant on superior talent to eventually result in a dub. The better the competition the lesser the margin for error. Michigan was out played in the first half, but superior coaching kept them in the game then when adversity hit the buckeyes cracked.

Without question or they are hypocrites. They always bemoan conference championship as a factor and one team would have a title vs another team who didn’t even play in the game.

I think it’d only be a debate if USC won the PAC 12 while tOSU’s only loss had come in the Big Ten title game. Since that isn’t the scenario, USC clearly has the argument over tOSU with a title next week IMO.

This is what I was saying last week, but now I’m on board with USC being number 4 if they win the PAC 12. However, if USC loses, like it or not, it has to be Ohio State at 4. There are no other options unless they’re going to throw Bama in again. I do think Bama has a way better shot to beat UGA than Ohio State would, but I don’t think their accomplishments this season should put them in over Ohio State. Ohio State lost one game to a really good team. All their other games haven’t really been that close.

If TCU and or USC lose, I think there are only two legitimate teams that can be in. Ohio State and Alabama. Like I’ve been saying all along, Ohio State’s only loss comes at the hands of the number two team in the nation. Like it or not, they have the best argument imo.

My opinion is because of the bold.....and I also can't say enough about what a phenomenal coach Jesse Minter is. The adjustments he makes on defense at halftime are top notch.

Harbaugh definitely has that Bo Schembechler edge that is carried out on the field. Personally I can’t stand him, but you can’t argue with what he’s done to OSU at he last two years. The Buckeyes look very soft, especially on D. The pressure will be turned up on Day next season.

I can’t make a case for OSU if USC revenges a 1-point loss to Utah. They better hope TCU loses. I don’t want to hear about the USC D after watching the Buckeyes D this season. USC also has the probable Heisman winner. How does that match up against Mich or Georgia? Who knows, but they deserve to be there.

Is Clemson pulling Clemsons again or did SC just take it to them?

WIth the OSU/Mich game on at the same time, this game may have gotten a little lost in the mix (for good reasons as the Mich game was phenomenal). But it was a great game.

Carolina out played and thoroughly out coached Clemson. Beamer ball indeed was a huge factor (perfect 4th down call in a crucial moment) and the other sideline kept trying to get cute and botched execution.

Carolina's special teams were perfect. The punter may have been the MVP. The key to this game for Clemson was to run the ball and get to Rattler. The former was going well but that dreadful Clemson OC can't help but want to pass with an extremely limited QB in DJ. He simply isn't that good. Clemson did get a safety on Rattler but only sacked him once.

And Rattler was stellar when he had time. He was accurate and hit the deep ball, something DJ U has no idea how to do. Carolina's keys were to slow the run and force DJ to beat them through the air. Check and check. Rattler did make a couple of bad mistakes, but he won the day.

Clemson had some awful and untimely turnovers too. They were in position to get into FG range and win after forcing a punt but the returner got near the 50 and fumbled. Game over. I don't think DJ would have gotten the 15-20 yards needed to set up the FG. He was that bad in the 2nd half.

I am extremely happy for Beamer and it's obvious the guys love playing for him. There is a lot to be excited about in Columbia next year and going forward.

He'll need to put more good tape out there if he wants to go pro IMO. Even yesterday he had a pick 6 and a bad TD in the endzone. Both times he doesn't see the LB underneath watching his eyes. Absolute rocket for an arm though.
