it is still a bit unnerving that this Moroccan coach is not even in place had the US not thumped this Moroccan team 3-0 this summer.

The cool thing is this semi final run is 100% earned. They beat Belgium and Canada and drew Croatia to win their group. Conceded zero goals to the opposition (one OG) through five games but still attack and play positive football. They were legitimately the better team against Spain and Portugal.

I'm far from knowledgeable, but they appear to be all in on defense with their entire 11. Lots of hustle to protect the goal and chase loose balls

Remember how lively the Moroccan fans were in '94 when I saw them play Saudi Arabia. Fezzes are top notch headwear. Didn't see them celebrate much as KSA upset them that day.
