Holy carp! I just saw the camera pan to 3 female Brazil fans in tank tops.

They’ve shown them a few times. hope they don’t disappear tonight.

I don't want to get banned so I will put this as soft as possible, but the lack of female fans at this WC removes so much of the flair, color and fun of the crowd shots.

Luckily, 2026 is going to be the exact opposite. Not only will it be hotter (encouraging less clothes), there will be more teams and SIGNIFICANTLY more female fans who won't be arrested but instead will be celebrated for their attire.

Have the confirmed the US cities for the 2026 games yet? I'd imagine Dallas is a shoe in, but what about Chicago or KC? Just looking for places near enough to where I live.

Just looked it up on my Google machine. Dallas & KC are my 2 best bets.

I'm guessing the minimum for most games will be $250/ticket in the group stage.

US and any other top matchups, I'm thinking $350-400/ticket, to start.

I am very interested to see how they break down the ticket sales.

Back in 1994, we prepurchased tickets for a block of games at one stadium. We did not yet know who was playing so they could not really charge more or less based on teams playing in that scenario.

actually, all the way up to this WC, the ref was the only person in charge of time keeping. In this WC, they have added to the 4th official responsibilities to help with time keeping.

I wonder if the pricing will be the same in Canada, Mexico and US or if it will vary by country?

I am assuming that Canada and Mexico will play their group stage games in their home country but that may not be accurate.

Seattle is going to be exceedingly difficult to find tickets, imo. That is a soccer crazed city in a region of the country that is soccer crazed, so make a plan now. I've got season ticket holder buddies for the Ms and Hawks and we're all starting our due diligence on how we can get a seat for '26. I don't care who is playing, I want a taste of this action.

I could be wrong, but I know like 10-15 people total that would be willing to even go to a game, much less drop $100's to go. Maybe the international contingent could pull that up beyond what I'm thinking, but local interest for African, Asian and random SA/Euro teams won't be that high.

one thing everyone needs to remember as well as when you guys look for tickets, the amount of seats set aside for American fans will be relatively limited because a ton are going to be assigned to all the foreign fans.

And given that 2022 was one of the least traveled WC's in history, because of the obvious issues, I am expecting a LOT of foreign fans are going to want to travel to the US/Mex/Can.

Also, the addition of the extra 16 teams won't help unless FIFA rethinks the absolutely awful 3 team group phase.

If it helps at all, the most recent World Cup qualifier (qualifier game mind you, not a world cup game), started at $90 in KC with an average of $150.

I would honestly be shocked if you found a ticket for $100 but I hope you do. You can also play the secondary market game where the prices will sky rocket and then plummet as you approach game day but that makes it hard to plan any sort of trip.

A random decent seat at Kansas City for a good game is around $150. When they are bad it is under $100. Took my son to the Steelers-Saints game and paid $110/ticket AFTER fees. We parked for $15 a ways away and walked in.

I feel like $100/ticket in the midwest is the threshold for a mid-level sporting event. Below that (MLB/MLS) and it will be closer to $50. Only the big time events will be over $200. Heck, I could probably get into a first round NFL playoff game at Arrowhead for $200.

And that is so cool of him that it really hurts me to say I won't be joining them - which will disappoint him. Funny background is that he and I watched US -Algeria together 12 years ago.

Shame Qatar isn't more tourist friendly because I liked the idea of all the stadiums being a short distance from each other. Would've made for a very festive atmosphere throughout the Cup.

I remember the 2010 Algeria match (or at least the circumstances surrounding it) SO well.

I had just started a new job like 3 weeks prior. 26 years old, wideeyed, new company.....had to be on my best behavior so that everyone knew I was a serious person and there to work. I'm DVR'ing the match and turned off my phone at kickoff so that nothing would be spoiled for me. Figured I could avoid hearing the results and watch it when I got home.

90 minutes later....I'm sitting at my desk plugging away at some training modules. I knew that about 10 guys were watching in the conference room (probably 100 feet away) watching the game but I hadn't heard a peep. Then all of a sudden......."GO!!!!!......NOOOOO!!!!!..........YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!" Didn't take a genius to figure out what happened.

Now I'm just taking PTO and I dont care who knows it.
