***Official 2022 World Cup Thread*** (2 Viewers)

Leaving that space in front of the defense is one thing I always disliked about Bradley in the center midfield. Disappointing to see the US give up another goal on the World Cup stage because of that lazy marking.

Dutch really compact and organized in the final half

We can’t seem to crack it

Might need to go over the top and play lower percentage attacks

And Gio and aaranson need to come on and try some ****

Only thing I hope is that the Dutch start to tire with this approach. I wonder if they can keep that pressure on the ball like that for 90.

Both sides seem to play their game plans. US looked in between the middle 80% of the field.

Difference is the Dutch can finish.

The Dutch tactics to shut off any supply lines to Weston and Musah has worked perfectly.

That was a dagger second goal. There is likely no way back but you have to put in Aaronson and Reyna and try to get the next goal.

Being behind by two to a team who is built to sit and counter is a nightmare scenario obviously.

Well, that's a bummer. Would've loved to see US come out only down 1-0 at half and see if they could make it interesting. Now it's just no shot. But, man, Netherlands seems to be on another level, despite some of the chances we had.
