**OFFICIAL 2025 Draft Thread - Green Bay Opens The Door For Guests** (2 Viewers)

Sam Howell on the last year of his rookie deal > 4 cost controlled years of Shadeur

Shadeur isn't getting brought in a room with a young QB. And after his Flacco comments, probably not in a room to be mentored by a vet QB either.

Have fun in NFL Europe or wherever the ****. Or enjoy living off daddy's money. 🤷‍♂️

How long has Mel's best available had Sanders #1 on his board flashing on ESPN. Since about 9 PM ET Thursday night ?

I’m going to have to turn on subtitles. I’m having trouble understanding the people introducing the picks on whatever channel I’m watching.

Draft capital by damned. I'd bet on Sanders being the Browns starter.

ETA: They should trade Flacco and just let the 3 young guys (Sanders. Pickett, Gabriel) compete. If none stand out, you have 2 1sts next year.

Browns drafted their best potential starting QB in 5th round and their most likely 3rd or 4th string QB in the 3rd round..........talent wise at least.
Yeah, that is weird resource management. They also may have gotten their best RB 2 round later than the one they drafted higher. Maybe that's just their thing this year.

Lost in the Sanders talk, I think NE getting Swinson in round 5 is every bit as big a value. This is a starting NFL DE in my eyes. Outstanding pass rusher, who has size to hold up against run.

Niners with yet another compensatory pick.
They just can't help themselves. 4th round WR. Does this mean they have already given up on last years 4th round WR Jacob Cowing?

Would have preferred they taken Mbow. They need another guard badly
Well, Kyle has taken over the draft. 4th round WR in Watson and 5th round RB in James. Guess they really are good with Barch, Brendel and McKivitz :wall:

Browns slowly and surely are drifting back to their former selves...what do I mean?
-You already took a QB and have a former 1st Rd pick from '22 and Joe Flacco on your roster, what the bleep are you doing taking Sanders?
I could understand had you took Travis Hunter but you didn't
And let's discuss that No 33 pick you all made :x

Yeah you won the trade vs Jacksonville but then you have to actually make the picks with what you received and I'm not looking at much that makes Cleveland a playoff force
Not ripping the Browns' fan base, love you all. Just trying to keep it real but I bet some of you have other POV on how the Browns are doing

I was at A+ on Thursday Night but I'm drifting down more and more as the draft unfolds

Outside of the first round pick not sure I'm loving this draft for Minnesota. But what do I know.

Yeah, doesn't help when you're pick poor. I'm sure they'll be active and desirable in the UDFA market. I've heard some say the depth of this class is both massive and non-existent. Not a huge difference between the guys going now and the top undrafted FAs. Not sure if that's really the case any more than any other year.

Net trades for Vikings...

Sent: 97, 187

Received: 102, 172, and Sam Howell

So moved down 5 spots to later move up 15 spots and obtain their backup QB. Not terrible.

Just not sure about last two picks. WR who drops passes and doesn't get great seperation and a DT who looks like he has tools but has had little production. But again, I'm just a shmuck reading evaluations. Was thinking they would have a couple more bites of the apple but not looking like it unless they trade down for a couple 7s with last pick.
