Old heads were complaining about the WBC because players got hurt in it (Diaz, Altuve, etc). Most sane people were saying the players can just as easily get hurt during spring training (Hoskins).

CZRs had a promo, bet $25 on 4 ml and get $25 bonus. I generally chose slight underdogs: BAL, CHC, PHI, TOR. I also saw a Scherzer 5K, Mets win boost on FD (probably a NY only thing). Mets always win on Opening Day.

He’s starting Opening Day, but I see that more as Martinez going with a vet than him being their #1. Gore or Gray probably more like best pitcher — still sucky, but not Corbin level sucky.
