After watching a week of baseball if anyone is still against the pitch clock they are a grumpy old man (GET OFF MY LAWN!). Watching multiple games, these games have been a joy to watch. Dare I say they could almost slow it down some (Granted it was a 1-0 game, but the Min/Mia game lasted less than 2 hours!). It has been very enjoyable and fun to watch again.
I was just coming in here to say I found the one person that is not on board with the pitch count: my Dad. He calls me yesterday, which he never really does (lets my stepmom handle communication) and says " have you watched any baseball?" Then goes off how the pitchers are going to get worn out from having to pitch faster, how the game doesn't breath like it use to, how the announcers can't get their stories in, and he just doesn't think this faster game is for him.
I mean how can someone at the game go and get a beer and nachos now and not miss a third of the game?? I was floored.
