If Detroit takes Skubal while he's still throwing 100 in the 6th I will laugh. But I can already see the bubble wrap coming. Why I quit watching baseball but I tuned in because a friend is at the game.

My guess is because a foul bunt with 2 strikes is an out, so they figure he might as well swing away.

Edit: unless that wasn't the at bat you were talking about. I'm tired.

He could have laid down a bunt with a 0-0 count, runners on 1st and 2nd. No outs.

I will never get that decision.

Yeah my bad... I thought you were talking about Crawfords at bat (I think) where he abandoned the bunt attempts with 2 strikes. It's 1am here.

My buddy from Louisville, a Reds fanatic, thanked me, a Mariners fanatic, after that trade. He told me Castillo was a facade…no good.
