Latinos, particularly first and second generation Latinos, are much more conservative than most people realize. Having grown up in AZ, they are very proud of the fact that they are a hard working people and for the most party very appreciative of the opportunity America has given them...they don't want any handouts, they just want to work and raise their family in a good environment, very family based. Also remember that they are strongly Catholic.Not very surprising to me, particularly when you look at how well GW did with this demographic in the last couple of elections.

Well two things:1) Huck winning some states gives McCain the Repub nomination. So yes -- go GOP.2) The dip#### vote? Middle America and the South are voting overwhelmingly for Obama. So if your point is they are dip####s for voting for an uber-liberal -- well I could agree.

I have a lot of contact with Latinos in the DC area (mostly in Maryland) and I can tell you that many Latinos around here, especially poor ones, are distrustful of blacks. I know it's not PC to say but I see and hear it time and again. I'm thinking Hillary benefits from this attitude. Also, declaring that "no woman is illegal" was a politically shrewd thing for her to say a few weeks ago. Of course, I think these same Latinos will vote in force for whomever the Democratic nominee is come November, regardless of color.
Because she's white and he's black. Given time Obama could change that but I'm not sure his message is getting to the community.

I wouldn't say no charisma. I think she has about the same charisma as Romney or McCain. But it's true that not all the charisma is on the Democratic side. I think its clear that it's Obama and then there's everyone else on at least that count.None of which is to diminish the questions about Obama's experience or the fact he's liberal or apparently doesn't give detailed policy position papers at Super Tuesday campaign rallies or whatever real or perceived weaknesses he has.
