That might have been me - love my ebag for rough work travel... full warranty, not like the crappy Samsonite "no wheels or zippers" warranty.
Thanks @Tick, these changed how we travel. The mini and duffel made it so that we no longer had to check bags. For us this is a huge deal when we travel internationally.

Anyone score the $99 Nintendo 3DS?  Anyone know where to find it (other than Ebay)?
Didn't, but a friend told me there's been a lot of reports of defective units with the $99 batch.

Picked up the Super Mario 3D Land version for $149. No issues with those and the alternate faceplate that comes with it is awesome.

SOG camping kit

machete, folder, shovel, hatchet.  In my experience, SOG can be hit/miss as far as durability, but for 50 bucks it's a pretty good deal even if you get only 3-4 seasons out of the stuff.

LOL I read a review where someone was complaining that they broke the machete and hatchet while chopping down a tree. :lmao:   Maybe you should try the knife next time :lmao:

Some REI stuff is 50% off.  REI is expensive as #### though, and you might find better deals elsewhere, but I can't find them:

https://www.rei.com/product/866384/black-diamond-storm-headlamp

I have a different BD light, and it's bright AF.  I think they are all about the same performance though

https://www.rei.com/product/830267/eno-onelink-hammock-shelter-system-with-doublenest-hammock

I've always wanted a nice hammock, but I have too many groundscore cheapos to run through first.  Or else this might be worth buying for me.  The extra tarp is pretty sweet.

Sister in law is raving about this... I don't get it.  Is there any point if you already have a rice cooker, crock pot, and pressure cooker?

Also, it has a setting for fermented rice.  That sounds interesting - anyone had it?
What's the point?  Just eat normal rice and drink vodka or something.

Who in the world would use this kind of stuff besides soldiers or those dudes on Moonshiners?  What do you use those knifes for?  Cutting food?  I don't get it.

All that stuff has some utility for camping.  I dunno.  I like knives anyway.

Camping.  Used stuff similar last time son and I went to cub scout camping trip.

F!ck me...the credit card got a work out this weekend.

So in addition to the 2 Amazon Dots I bought, I needed to get a light set to go with it. So I bought a set of the Orsam LEDs, but I'm not sure if I'm happy with them b/c I also need to buy Gateway for $30 for each room. So open to recommendations on smart lights.

Then our TV started freaking out, so the wife found a 65in Samsung 4k for $850.

So, of course that led me to finding the Samsung SmartThings set up that pairs with Alexa. So naturally I bought some of that crap so that the TV can play nice with Alexa.

I use the Phillips hue smart bulbs and love them. That tv deal you got was the best deal on tvs that I saw all holiday. Nice job.

You only needed one hub for the Osram bulbs. The rest of the bulbs act as a mesh network.

But if you bought the SmartThings hub, you may as well just buy Cree or GE smart bulbs that work with the SmartThings hub, especially since they're a bit cheaper.

They say to buy stuff you need on Black Friday/Cyber Monday.  I bought a stove, some dress shoes, a dog life preserver, and a dress belt.  Almost pulled the trigger on some new luggage but I'm still looking around, they say buying luggage this weekend is one of the better seasonal buys.  So if anyone comes across anything terrific, drop it in here with an @Drd please.  TIA.
I am looking for luggage as well. Large, carry-on, garment bag large or carryon, and backpack.

Also, maybe a mini fridge?

Cool thanks...I'm gonna replace the Osrams with the Cree for now....the goal of this is to have LESS separate devices, not more. Now that I understand the gateway, I do dig the "mesh" concept of the lightbulbs. But so far I am only doing 1 room to see how we like it. I'm not opposed to adding on if we find ourselves invested in our day-to-day.

Drones are one of those things that are legal until they are not.  Then we will think what the hell were we thinking.

Within 5 years they will be outlawed.

For those looking for the Nintendo 3ds for $100 I can't find it anywhere. However Amazon has the 3ds xl available right now for 15% off. It will be in stock on December 2 so I'll keep checking for the $100 one and cancel the order if necessary.

You should look into IFTTT - cool app if you have smart devices.  It can do things like turn off all your lights if everyone leaves the house, or turn up the heat when you leave work.

So, naturally, I use it to send the link from any Drew Magary tweet that includes the word Jambaroo to Pocket.  Important stuff.

Be wary. I've seen a lot of supposed ”Black Friday" deals with not so great pricing, including jacking up the listed Regular Price so the discount looks larger. Basically it means a lot of stuff is at a normal "Sale" price but not much better at all. They're just trying to cash in on the prior years' BF hype without doing much.

I'm actually looking for just the 2ds.  Can't find it anywhere at a decent price.

Eddie Bauer has 50% off on everything if your into that kind of thing.

Anyone see any giant vats of lube on sale?  Asking for a friend.

fanatics.com is extremely guilty of this.

I've been watching all weekend for a replica Mets jersey for my son. Finally get to today, 30% off cyber Monday..... but of course it doesn't apply no "limited" items. Bastards. And if I recall, the Jersey is $5 more than it was a month ago.
