Official Carolina QB Thread (1 Viewer)

anyone else stash Moore Away in dynasty.... I did. I have my doubts that Delhomme comes back next year; hes owned like 4 million if he does.

In fact; I believe their will be a whole new coaching staff (Crowher possibly)... if the kid could throw the rock well; he could be audutioning for the 2008 gig.

Delhomme

3/1/2007: Signed a restructured contract through 2009. 2007: $1.4 million, 2008: $3.69 million, 2009: $5.325 million, 2010: Free Agent

He will be back next year. I think people would like to keep this thread on topic about who is starting today.

Some conflicting reports here. From two local beat writers:

We know the inactives, though there's no definitive word on who'll start at quarterback today. The guess is it's Matt Moore, since I haven't seen Vinny Testaverde out here warming up yet. (Update: Testaverde's going to dress, and try to do some stuff when they come out for pre-game, but there's no way of knowing whether he can start -- or finish).
And:
If you haven't seen the breaking news on Charlotte.com already, it looks as if Vinny Testaverde will be the starting quarterback. The Panthers haven't officially said that yet, but they tipped their hand by designating Drew Olson as the inactive third quarterback. That means Testaverde likely will start with Matt Moore as the backup.

With David Carr inactive, Vinny Testaverde will start in Week 10 against the Falcons.Good news for Steve Smith, who at least has some chance to put up solid numbers without Carr dragging him down. Matt Moore will back up the 43-year-old Testaverde.
