Really embarrasing. Especially the o-line. I actually wish that I could demand an explanation on why none of the young, promising guards that were available were looked at. So we are going to go with Tait, Garza and Kreutz, plus probably a rookie tackle, and who, Metcalf?I mean, this is really disgraceful. This is really getting frustrating. The Bears have resigned two of the QBs who played poorly last year. So they are hoping someone plays better than they did last year. They may draft a QB, but that provides no help for this year. The offensive line was offensive last year. They got rid of Fred Miller and I believe one of the starting guards. But they have brought in no one to replace either player. They may get help here in the draft. No one on the bench played well enough to unseat any of the starters, yet we seem to think miraculously the line will be better. The running game was horrible last year. Yet we have chosen to stick with the players that couldn't get it done at all last year. Benson is a complete and total waste of a draft pick, but we are going into another season with him as the starter. They may draft a RB and get help there. The Bears were one of the worst receiving cores in the league last year. They lost the #1 and #2 receivers, and chose to replace just Muhammed. I guess they hope that Hester will grow in to a #1, or Bradley will stay healthy. No help coming for this group in the draft. So they are hoping that one of these receivers who hasn't produced will step up. They could have improved the receivers, without breaking the bank, by signing Bryant Johnson or Hackett. They didn't even make an effort. What it looks like to me is that a bad offensive team has gotten worse. The defense, if they can stay healthy, could be one of the top units in the league. But the offense will almost certainly be one of the bottom teams. I think we are in for a long season. I'm about ready to show Angelo to the door. And now the offseason looks even worse...Hackett gets a 2yr $3.5M Deal, yet we sign booker with a "hometown discount" for the same price![]()

I see little to no value in a RD2 back. In round one, the Bears could get one of the big three. After that, the next 5-6 backs are all roughly in the same class.
Lovie's plan is to take the best KR/PR the NFL has seen in ages and make him a sub-par WR.

Not to mention Hester has little to no Blocking ability. He will be a huge liability in the run game, or it will be a case of "When Hester is on the field, the Bears are throwing" mentality.I'm just very skeptical of this whole thing. And again, I would have no issues with him playing Offense as long as he is the prime returner. I'm lost on the idea that Lovie thinks its a wise move to reduce Hester's touches on Special Teams. I'm hopin for the best

- becuase he adjusted so well last year. Why? After game three Mike Brown will be out for the season anyway. I used to think Lovey was a decent coach - now I think he got lucky 1 year and the only decent part of his coaching staff is in SF. Dip####.
