Official Corey Coleman - WR - Patriots (3 Viewers)

Just thank the lord almighty Coleman is still out there. Major oversight on your league members.
Yeah, definitely. I actually didn't know he was dropped until I was searching through the waiver wire. He was actually dropped for Chris Thompson.

Let's refresh our memories on what Coleman did in his first 2 games in the NFL
I'm reminded of it every time I got into my leagues and sort out WR's by average fantasy points per game, where he's currently 6th. And yes I know it's a two game sample size, not my point, just saying every time I do that it reminds me of what he did.

He's #1 in ppg in my league

Anyone playing him this week? I may roll the dice in my flex if Ware or McCoy are a no go.
Figured this question is going to be asked a lot.  It's a big bye week so in a lot of leagues he is in play. I'll trust him more if McCown is the QB and that will decide things for me in my main league where if McCown is the starter I would put Coleman in over guys such as Marvin Jones in a nasty matchup and McCoy/Gillislee. So not someone I view as a desperation kind of play or anything. If Kessler goes however I'd sit him in that league.

McCown in at quarterback too. Perfect storm.
Cody Kessler (concussion) has been cleared to return for Week 9.
Coach Hue Jackson hedged on whether Kessler would immediately reclaim the starting job, saying he had to see how the rookie looks in practice. Josh McCown stuffed the stat sheet in Kessler's absence Sunday, but saw his play gradually go off the cliff. Kessler should be considered the favorite to start against Dallas.

Pryor looks great but I think that helps Coleman short and long term. He's not going to see any double teams with Pryor playing so well.

I own him in 2. Have to start him in 1, may in both
Picked him up in my shortest bench league as soon as I heard about the about to return to practice news. I'm starting him. I'll need him as I have Julio "I don't feel like playing tonight" Jones going against Mike Evans tonight. Let's go Coleman.

I'm playing him if McCown is throwing.  If Kessler gets the nod I am waiting to see how that goes.   :stalker:

I think many fans have the hope that he is the second coming of Josh Gordon. (fantasy and Browns fans alike)

There are many things that could actually lead him to a strong showing the rest of season.

I would think the Browns want to really see what they have in Kessler. This is their "free chance". They have absolutely nothing to lose. Air it out, not only give Kessler a bunch of work, but lets see what your potential franchise WR Coleman can do too.

I see some shootouts, or at least the propensity for some. Let Kessler let it absolutely fly....why not?  The Browns fans have nothing to cheer for, and this is at least a chance to get the team fired up for next season by at least getting a good look at what they have in both Kessler and Coleman both.

I don't know enough about the Browns practice habits, and if Coleman and Kessler have spent a bunch of time together, but thats generally how it begins. Even if Josh McCown is the QB, thats not necessarily a bad thing, he certainly isn't afraid to air it out.

BUT....this is The Browns. We might should all temper our expectations.

I doubt he is the second coming of Josh Gordon. But from the tape I have seen, he is an excellent athlete, and in the brief time we have seen him, he can definitely perform at a high level.

For now I am slotting him in, in 2 leagues of my 4, out of necessity like I'm sure a few of us have to due to byes and injuries etc...  (these are start 3WR leagues though)

I am only realistically expecting low end WR2 numbers, and I am truthfully fine with that at first. I think the upside is definitely there. Who knows, we may be in for a surprise.

Not sure I want to start him right out of the gate. At the moment I've got Britt paired with OBJ. CC and Pryor are on my bench.

Own Coleman in 11 leagues, starting him in 10.

I'm playing these 4 over him in the other:

Brown, Cooper, Marshall and Snead, that's not in stone, looking at Cooper or Snead as possible sits for Coleman

You can never sit Copper no matter what really. Yeah he has a terrible matchup but if you get into the habit of sitting elite studs you are going to screw yourself more than you are going to help yourself over the long run......

Starting him in my dynasty league over other flex choices: Travis Benjamin, Quincy Enunwa, Allen Hurns, and Jimmy Graham

Cooper is questionable with a back injury.

Cooper might not play keep an eye on his status.

Trying to decide between him and Moncrief. Figure Moncrief is the steadier play, better matchup probably and I already have Evans' points on the board but CC has huge upside without a doubt. Tricky one. If McCown plays, might just throw him in there, in his small sample, he has shown a lot.

Go Crief... I have to play both

Same decision, I'm going Moncrief. He looked good last week and should be a steady source of points. Coleman is still a big question mark. It's only his 3rd professional game.

Yep, this is also the way i'm leaning, seems the safer play with plenty of upside, could be a shootout type game.
