Some people attending Trump rallies' opinions are hate speech.

Keep in mind, as much as the media is controlling what the rest of America thinks about "all of" Trump's supporters because he's anti-establishment, the same thing is happening to Sanders' supporters.  Food for thought for if either candidate makes the GE.

Donald Trump’s Muslim Ban Somehow Got Worse

Donald Trump told a Wisconsin town hall on Wednesday that his proposed ban on Muslims entering the United States would have an exception for the billionaire's rich friends.

"I have actually—believe it or not—I have a lot of friends that are Muslim and they call me," Trump said, when asked about his plan by MSNBC's Chris Matthews, the event's moderator. "In most cases, they're very rich Muslims, okay?"

Matthews then asked Trump if his rich Muslim friends would be able enter the country under Trump's Muslim ban. "They'll come in," Trump said. "You'll have exceptions."

Love tough guys who complain they are getting mistreated by the Rachel Maddows of the world.
That's what I was thinking as a conservative pundit on CNN was complaining about how Chris Mathews was unfairly steering Trump towards his gaffe last night.  'He's not prepared for that kind of liberal probing."

Oh, but he's prepared to lead this country.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQfzwFloVqA

ETA - Let's raise a glass to Glick for no longer being one to apologize for him.   :suds:

The election the country needs is Ron Paul vs Bernie Sanders. They are absolute polar opposites. However, they seem to be moral people that have firm and unique beliefs. Both would be above dirty politics and make the race actually about the issues. We could have a real conversation and establish a firm direction for how we the country to move forward.

I touched on this earlier in the thread in my post about why a Muslim ban is not okay, while an "Iran immigrant" ban is generally considered acceptable.

There will have to be exceptions to this type of ban.  There just have to be.  And as a result, it's an unworkable policy that will only have discriminatory effects.
Well it starts out illogical, then becomes unworkable, but then becomes corrupt when the President is personally selecting friends who will be excused from the law by his word alone.

Unfortunately, the American people aren't capable of demanding this level of competition.  We'll settle for whose hands are bigger or whose wife is hotter, I guess.

Agreed, although Ron Paul kind of carries the "crazy" libertarian tag with him.  I thought Rand had a good showing in the early debates, but never gained any traction.
Trump took the Stormfront vote away from the Ron Paul franchise and with some of Rands differences from his father, Rand wasn't going to get them back

I will give the Trump and Bernie people credit. They tried changing the conversation. Bernie was at least very successful in pushing his issues to the forefront of the D debate. However, won't be successful in winning enough people over. Trump is the opposite. He was over enough people, but he pushed the conversation further into the toilet. I do think people are paying closer attention to politics than in the past and that can only be a good thing. Hopefully this is just the beginning of a shift.

Protest with a Vote for Johnson.

Make a 3rd party viable in this country .
I really wish we could get a common sense party off the ground and wipe out these 2 loser parties. We just can't get people on board. They love the statement, 'you are throwing your vote away'.

So if I understand this correctly, the poor farmers are powerless to stop engaging in illegal hiring practices due to the overwhelming supply of cheap labor.  The poor farmers. Maybe the government should subsidize them more so they can afford to pay fair labor wages.
We have got to figure out out this illegal immigration stuff.  Do we want cheap labor like this?  Is it fair or moral to have Mexicans work for slave wages?  Should all countries that we trade with have minimum standards for worker wages and benefits?  The whole thing is a convoluted mess.

Can you expound upon that Henry?
Sure.  There a number of white supremacists who have attended Trump rallies.  They've used threatening and demeaning methods and language based on color, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, or other traits to express their opinions.  Those opinions as expressed are hate speech.  Therefore some people attending Trump rallies' opinions are hate speech.

didn't you get the memo?  Illegals don't commit crimes.  Other than the crime of coming in here in the first place, and according to Tim they are justified in breaking this law.
Sweet strawman argument you got there.

Unlike when Trump said Mexico is only sending their rapists and criminals, no one has ever said "illegals don't commit crimes".

It's almost like there is a middle ground between all or nothing...

This is what happened when Japan DID let in asylum seekers

As a footnote to Federale’s VDARE.com March 29 piece on Japan’s rejection of almost all Muslim asylum seekers, here is  an account of the arrest of two asylum-seeking Turks in Japan for rape and robbery. You can find several other links to this story via Google.
Tokyo cops arrest 2 Turks seeking refugee status in gang rape of woman

Tokyo Reporter, February 22, 2016

Onder Pinarbasi and a 16-year-old boy allegedly sexually assaulted a woman inside a public toilet near JR Akabane Station

TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested two Turkish nationals currently applying for refugee status for allegedly raping a woman in Kita Ward, reports the Sankei Shimbun (Feb. 22).

At approximately 12:30 a.m. on December 27 of last year, Onder Pinarbasi, 22, and a 16-year-old boy allegedly took the woman, aged in her 30s, to a public toilet near JR Akabane Station and sexually assaulted her. The suspects also stole 9,000 yen in cash from the victim.

Pinarbasi, who has been charged with rape and robbery, claims the boy committed both crimes. The boy admits to onlyl the robbery charge. “I did not force myself upon her,” he is quoted by police in denying the rape accusation, according to the Yomiuri Shimbun (Feb. 22).

The incident occurred after the suspects called out the woman, who was visibly drunk at the time, as she was walking home.

The suspects arrived in Japan last year. They applied for refugee status in August and October, telling the Immigration Bureau of Japan that they did not want to return to Turkey due to “problems that exist between relatives.”

While their applications were being examined, the suspects received a visa status granting “special permission to stay in Japan.”

The suspects became people of interest for the police after an examination of surveillance camera footage taken in the area.

Also, those probably aren't "illegals."

Mark Cuban on Trump

I don't care if he says the wrong thing. He says what's on his mind. He gives honest answers rather than prepared answers. This is more important than anything any candidate has done in years.

STIIIILLLLL WAITING
When dfsguy backs himself into a corner, he'll just hide and ignore you. May even put you on ignore so he doesn't have to deal with it.

In a time when a lot of Trump supporters are waking up and realizing how terrible this guy is as a candidate, the die hard supporters are having a rough go. Other than their little club, there is nothing positive about the guy and his campaign anymore. High profile people have stopped coming out to endorse him. It's all starting to unravel and it's hard defending the guy. Even for the most ardent of supporters.

Who do you think is more genuine and honest, Trump or Sanders?
For an entire lifetime? I don't know. For this election? Trump.

Trump has been speaking truths on BLM / Muslims / illegal immigration/ cops and political correctness that Sanders simply doesn't do.

Every time Sanders panders to BLMs or illegal immigrants I think of all the victims and become disgusted with the pervert.

Mark Cuban on Trump
I wish Cuban would run...he seems level headed...he could run as a R or a D and win in a landslide right now

he is also right that this is a positive side to the Trump candidacy....Trumps negatives do far outweigh this, but , maybe, going forward we can break out of this mold of carefully marketed candidates

I think you're confusing "honesty and genuine" with "unfiltered", which I think is a bad trait for a world leader.  There needs to be something between the brain and the mouth.

And who's the pervert?

The fact that he disagrees with you doesn't mean he's pandering.  Sanders views these issues in a pretty different context than most Trump supporters do, that's true.  But he was arrested fighting for civil rights, and views BLM as the more militant edge of the current fight for civil rights.  His father was an immigrant, and he views undocumented immigrants who have lived here for some time and are contributing to society as having come here the wrong way but done things the right way since they got here.  A sort of redemption story worth having in this country. And maybe a way to better inform our immigration policy to make sure we get hard workers in and keep the people who won't contribute out.

  I think we have definitely identified the perv.  Combine that pic with his previous comments about wanting to bang his daughter  :X

Has he officially surpassed Cruz with the creep factor? I mean Ted just looks the part - Trump has some tangible material to go with it.
I was referring to Bernie Sanders as the pervert

"A woman enjoys intercourse with her man as she fantasizes being raped by 3 men simultaneously"

Lots of women (and men) have rape fantasies.  For someone to know this and write it down doesn't change much at all.

Yeah that's not Bernie's best quote.  I think Trump fantasizing about sex with his daughter is bit more pervy though, no?  "If I wasn't a married man, and you know, her father...".  And a much more recent quote as well.
Trump was joking while Bernie wrote an essay on his perverted thoughts.

Do you have fantasies where you rape women? I know I don't and everyone I know that is decent definitely doesn't.

What I do or don't do doesn't change anything.

Plenty of women have rape fantasies.  But they cant discuss such things because certain people attack them for it.
