You can almost rewrite this...

It's really not what the election is about.

This election is about Democratic leadership looking on helplessly as the monster they created spins completely out of control.  They stopped caring about issues long ago, gathered votes through fear and hatred, and Hilary is just taking it to the next level.

Bernie is next level as well, meaning going so far left to get the Liberal folk, that he is un-electable.

This is what the Democrats started with O. and now they are reaping what they sow.
Democrats gathered votes through hate and fear?  Nah man, sorry.

Except Hilary has been a candidate for POTUS before....

Ok, I tell you what, let's look at the current polls in these key states - PA, WI & CA. And let's see where they go by the next round of polling which does not overlap with prior date ranges.

WI: T 31 / K 29 / C 27

CA: T 36 / C 35 / K 14

PA: T 33 / K 30 / C 20

eta - Personally I think this will affect the trust levels he has with people. He's laying his credibility on the line with this stupidity.
You're a politico, Saint.  Of course it matters to you because you know all the details and angles of the story.  But most weekend warrior types are just going to see the video, hear that a Trump guy was accused of battery, and say, "wtf?"  I don't think it will mean a lot of votes for Trump, but I do think it will help him rather than hurt him.

When does Donald actually start talking about this?

Look at his last 20 tweets.

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump

Maybe 3 out of the last 20 deal with anything remotely what you're talking about, Guantanamo and trade. So ~90% of his time tweeting has been about other stuff than what you're talking about.

I'm not defending Lewandowski.  I've said in here many times that I don't particularly care for the guy, and that I think he and Pierson may be hurting Trump.  My comment was that this bogus "criminal" charge is going to help Trump at the polls.  People don't like bogus cases like this moving forward, especially when we see real criminal cases involving illegals who were not deported as they should have been.  Sorry, but Fields comes off looking horrible here, and that's what a lot of people in the middle without an axe to grind are going to focus on.
People in the middle are going to sympathize with Lewandowski, and prefer Trump?

Anyone that dumb is already a Trumpallo.

It's really not what the election is about.

This election is about GOP leadership looking on helplessly as the monster they created spins completely out of control.  They stopped caring about issues long ago, gathered votes through fear and hatred, and Trump is just taking it to the next level.

Cruz is next level as well, meaning going so far right to get the church folk, that he is un-electable.

This is what the GOP started with W., and now they are reaping what they sow.
I might argue a more definitive starting point being when Ronald Reagan specifically courted Jerry Falwell and the Moral Majority, but that's nitpicking and may be due to my age, you may not have been around then to see that.

Right.  How do you make the connection between that and "everybody".  They are separate.
Well why don't you tell us, professor.  You made the statement.  Tell us how many of the people getting government handouts are lazy since you told us the number was too high.  I mean, afterall, it's the only thing the GOP can agree on.  Your words.

Democrats gathered votes through hate and fear?  Nah man, sorry.
Actually yes.  They keep bringing up SCJ and trying to drum up fear and hate about the Pub candidates.   Bernie is basically 100% fear based about the rich.

 It's 60 dead, 300 wounded.

No thoughts, concern or prayers for the harmed.

He alone, him, he's the guy who can stop evil bombings in Lahore. He's going to do it. Alone. That's the point of this tweet.
Thoughts, concern and prayer are all meaningless, they provide nothing...the families that lost loved ones don't care if Donald Trump is thinking of them or concerned about them.  I will bet however they are hoping someone can solve the issue...

Ok, we will see. I think a lot of people will hear that Lewandowski was arrested. This is Jupiter FL, not Chicago.

Do you Trump guys respect Cruz a little more now, if in fact he did pork those 5 babes in the Enquirer story? Makes him a little more badass and alpha, right?

Man, if only he'd casually slip the n-word into a few speeches, he could pull this out.

Are you saying I am racist because I support Trump?

I deleted that because it was getting into the weeds. I agree that we all want a solution.

However this was his next tweet:

Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump Mar 27
See Lyin' Ted, even the @DailyBeast (no fan of mine) says this story came from Rubio, not Trump!
My point I've been making is that that is time he could have spent on a real issue. He says he alone can solve the terrorist crisis, but he spends a lot more time (or here just as much in terms of how long it takes to tweet) talking about how Rubio is really behind a sex scandal story in the Enquirer.

I feel bad for the women.

So he shouldn't address it?  He's getting blasted by Cruz guys for being behind it.

A general question since bigotry is the word of the day:

Is it bigoted to be bigoted against bigots?

Meaning, if a group of people are bigots, is it ok to be "against them"?

We don't need your racist comments in here...What kind of person advocates "slipping the n-word in"....

Wouldn't it be 'she's written the book'....and  not 'she's wrote the book'?
I'm actually not sure.

'Written' is the past participle: the book was written. 'Wrote' is just the past tense: I wrote the book. And affect is the verb; effect the noun except in the obscurer usage of effect which means to "cause to come into being". It was written that I wrote a book.

I still don't know.  I'll assume your write.

Kind of funny how the ludicrous arrest came at the perfect time to distract from the Cruz sex scandal. That really makes you think, doesn't it?

Are you calling yourself a conspiracy theorist??

Don't make me report you, buddy.  Won't have you personally insulting you round here.

Address it? He addresses it all the time. Constantly. Again look at his twitter timeline and see how much time he spends on Cruz, Kelly, Lewandowski and total bs instead of the important issues you want to talk about. That's him. Donald, Lewandowski and their campaign are as of this moment wasting time trying to prove that Fields wasn't hurt, or there's no real crime there, or the police are lying (they must be).

On the other hand, good management would have been Lewandowski just telling Fields he's sorry he grabbed her and hurt her feelings or whatever you think the minimal reason for all this is. Then no Breitbart story, no arrest, no massive wastes of time and credibility. Really good management would maybe be the campaign suspending or firing him (note this is Mr. "You're Fired! we're talking about) and getting on to talking about issues like terrorism.

With Cruz, same thing, instead of just letting it die down Donald and his campaign are on a crusade to prove that Cruz slept with Amanda Carpenter, or that Cruz somehow knew Liz Mair was going to buy a $200 Facebook ad while working for a PAC backing a whole other candidate.

This Captain Queeg stuff.

Meanwhile yeah kids and mothers are getting blown into bits on Easter Day. So yeah when Donald tweets to his 6.5 million followers I think that tweet is more worthily spent on those victims than whatever personal vendetta Donald is grinding over at that particular moment.

eta - In reality the Lewandowski arrest isn't that big of story. But Trump's inability to transition from personality and leader of a "movement" more or less to a serious political campaign sure is.

Anger isn't the same thing as fear.  Sometimes it's a reaction to fear, but not always, and not in this case.

Ok. I'm listening. Who's involved in the decision to prosecute?

Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg is part of Hillary Clinton’s team.

In case there was any doubt about Hillary Clinton‘s overwhelming Democratic establishment support, her campaign this morning rolled out a 150-member “Florida Leadership Council” that includes most of the state’s big Democratic names — but is a little thin on Palm Beach County support,

Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg and Tax Collector Anne Gannon are also part of Clinton’s Florida team.
