"Official" Donald Trump for President: Great Wall of Mexico (1 Viewer)

Its actually funny that he won the state, without any ground game.  I think its kind of strange that the RNC doesn't get control of all the different rules and kind of standardize everything.

He's violated the oath as much as Cruz and Kasich.  No one has outright rejected it, have they?

"No, I don't anymore," Trump said, when asked by CNN's Anderson Cooper if he continued "to pledge to support whoever the Republican nominee is?"

- I'm willing to agree that looking at it again Cruz and Kasich were weasely in that they wouldn't say they would not support him but also wouldn't say they would. But again yeah their lawyers and avisors have probably told them that an outright breach like "I don't anymore" could be used against them.

I have the white supremacist on ignore already. Could somebody link to his meltdown?
Starts around page 34. Well worth the read. He linked to a white supremacist site, then said he didn't realize it was a white supremacist site, then defended the things the white supremacists were saying.

I'm glad I went back to check it out, if only for the rare opportunity to see SWC advise someone NOT to take something to the bank. That's as strong a reprimand as you can get around here.

So Trump is now explaining away his abortion gaffe by saying it was a long and convoluted question and MSNBC edited the video. This ####### guy is just shameless.

http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/04/01/dc-republican-chairman-trump-almost-churchillian-pulls-people-together/

The former DC Republican Party chairman Ron Phillips has told Britain’s Sky News that U.S. Republican frontrunner Donald Trump is “almost Churchillian”, claiming that not everyone in the establishment wing of the party is anti-Trump. He said: “I think there’s many of us who want to embrace Trump”.
Mr. Phillips called the Trump movement the “new American French revolution”, stating “there is a tremendous grassroots movement across the country that cannot be accurately polled, it cannot be accurately gauged. There are people who are not honestly telling people how they are voting. There’s just an unseemly sense of anger that is in the political electorate today. And you’re having an extraordinary moment in American politics where it’s just literally a grassroots uprising. From the standpoint of those of us who actually are in Washington DC, we do want change, we do want a better government, but this is very unconventional in how it’s happening.”

Mr Thompson, the interviewer, insisted that the establishment Republican Party doesn’t want Mr. Trump as the candidate, a view held by most, but one which Mr. Phillips was keen to stress does not apply absolutely to all members of the political establishment.

“I disagree,” he said.

“I think there’s many of us who want to embrace Trump. I think he’s bringing a new level of excitement to the Republican Party. He has a tremendous cross-over appeal to non-traditional voters as well as Democrat voters like no-one else we’ve seen in the last 20 years.

“I want to be able to say, that would be of interest to your [British] viewers, it’s almost Churchillian, on how he’s basically able to go into both political parties and pull people together towards him.

“Again, Trump is more about a movement, a change than he is about an individual candidate.”

Gotcha.  I didn't see or hear the "I don't anymore" part.  I thought he dodged the question by saying the RNC isn't supporting him.  Maybe that's what he should have said.

"DC Republican Party Chairman" is one of the best titles ever. There's like eight Republicans in DC.

In fact it's so small-time that I actually know the guy who replaced him, and I'm a nobody, and he'd never even mentioned to me that he's the GOP Chair- I discovered it when I did a google search for this post.

I thought you guys said Eminence was?
I kind of think he's putting on an act. He's mostly ignored. Dfsguy's pretending not to know what the site was, then denying it was a white supremacist site was pure comedy gold. Add to it, his hissy fit of putting everyone on ignore who pointed it out, and he takes the top prize.

He's not having a hissy fit. He's having fun doing it!

He is so far in these people's head it's hilarious. Can't get enough watching his mental ownership over them.
..mental ownership.. you're kidding right?  :lmao:

I know it's been mentioned several times but what are the odds that Trump truly is just trying to throw this election. There was a window several weeks ago where if he toned it down and didn't say stuff like "woman who have abortions should be punished" he might have coasted to the general. To say something as ludicrous as "woman should be punished if they have an abortion" signals malice, ignorance or that he simply wants out. There really is no in between.

Furthermore, assuming it's true that he's trying to punt here, how do his supporters feel? What would you say if you knew for a fact that he never had any intention of winning but just wanted to string you guys along while he basked in the limelight?

Just read through the whole whitegenocide nonsense....I'd love to say I was surprised but DFS and Higgs seem pretty open in their beliefs.

White Christian Males not having complete control over everything = White Genocide

I'm sure in some places of the country this feeling is very prevalent, but from the outside looking in, it's pretty disgusting behavior.  Sad that people feel the need to blame anyone else but themselves for their problems.

I'm actually pretty well liked around here, lol. It's easily Tim / MOP who people notoriously hate.

I'm cool with a few members of staff, beloved in the Shark Pool, hung out with somebody from here while in Vegas, etc.

There's some bias because of things I posted when I was younger but anyone who gives me an actually chance walks away with a friend.

Trump Accuses MSNBC of Editing Town Hall Abortion Question, Network Responds

In an interview with Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor Thursday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump accused MSNBC of editing down his controversial back-and-forth about abortion in a way that presented his comments out of context.

“You really ought to hear the whole thing,” Trump told guest host Eric Bolling. “This is a long convoluted question. This was a long discussion, and they just cut it out. And, frankly, it was extremely — it was really convoluted.”

“It could be that I misspoke,” he continued. “But this was a long, convoluted subject. We talked about Catholicism and his religion, and [Chris Matthews] went back and forth about that. This was a very long, convoluted discussion which, frankly, they don’t want on television because it was too long.” ...

Are we done now?

https://www.reddit.com/r/The_Donald/comments/4clhi7/trump_has_finally_inspired_me_to_leave_islam/

Hey the_donald, I'm a 19 year old girl living in America with muslim immigrant parents. Until yesterday, I had not once removed my Hajib in my life while outside. I tried to do it once when I was 10 years old, and my parents grounded me for a week.

Let me tell you something right now, there are no "moderate muslims". There are no "assimilated muslims". Throughout my life, I have been to three different mosques regularly. Everyone there had some kind of animosity to America. Either they support jihadist actions outright or they refuse to condemn them, or they victim blame christians and the west. Every time theres a terrorist attack, all over the media there are reports of muslims who speak out against jihad or protest terrorists.

This is bull####.

The last time I went to service at my mosque was right after the Brussels attack. You want to know how many of them were condemning it? 0. Not a single one. My parents over facebook (which they refuse to let me post publically to) both started complaining about Islamophobia that would sprout. Not even a faux prayer for the victims. I've been secretly watching Trump and his speeches for the last few months, and agreeing with what he says about Islam. This religion is ####### garbage. You want to know what people at my mosque say to me when I ask them about Trump or about terrorists crossing the border?

"Don't speak woman"

I have internalized this all my life and just recently I had joined a feminist group on campus where there were a surprising number of Trump supporters, who have helped me through this. While they didn't push me to take off my hajib and renounce Islam, Ive decided to do it myself. My parents have not assimilated. None of my "friends" from mosque have either. I want to be a doctor, I want to have sex, I want to walk around town without a male chaperone. None of these things are permitted. Let me be clear, no muslim girl is wearing a hajib by choice. They know that if they're caught without one, they WILL be punished. My parents will probobly disown me when they find out, but #### it.

The worst part is all the liberals on campus apologizing for mulims, especially the Bernie girls going around wearing Hajibs "in solidarity". Well congratulations, you are officially a conquered people of the caliphate. When liberals do this and encourage more muslims to enter the country, people at the mosques are not sighing in relief that whites aren't racist, they are giddy that they are accepting the new islamic state so easily.

Only Trump is standing up to these animals. We don't want a single one in our country. If Trump doesn't win, I will happily die the last woman not covering her head. Liberals have no idea what Islam really is.

I think there are two things at play with the abortion comment:

1. Everyone knows he's been pro-choice his entire life. He didn't bother reading & rehearsing the pro-life platform, because he probably just figured there's not a lot to it -- just say you're against abortion.

2. He lacks a conscience. Even with his lack of preparation, this wasn't a difficult question to answer. Watch how he stalls, and tries to turn the question back on Matthews to buy time and hopefully evade the question. Then when nailed down, he just went into his default authoritarian schtick. Yes, sure, punish the women. That says a lot about about what a cold and callous person he really is. Then a minute later Matthews asked if the father should be punished too, and he said no. So as a bonus it reinforces the misogynist argument against him.

Wasn't it just like 6 months ago you got fired for basically being a loser on your job?
I don't know man, did I ever tell you the story? Did I get fired for my production at work?

Seems like you know more about this than I do. I gotta wonder why I'm collecting unemployment if I was such a loser at work or whether I successfully proved there was no Misconduct under the State of Illinois' definition.

*shrugs*

You know what happened better than me though. I'm quite happy with what happened. I actually just got back from a nice vacation to Las Vegas and plan on going back very soon.

Carry on with the Trump talk though, I was just searching my name to make sure nobody was saying mean things about me.

;)
Never.

Funny how things evolve, you're now probably the smartest Trump supporter on the board. Looking forward to more of your contributions GB.

http://cnsnews.com/news/article/terence-p-jeffrey/us-lost-29000-manufacturing-jobs-march-gained-retail-food-services

In February, according to seasonally adjusted data released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment in the manufacturing sector was 12,320,000. In March, that dropped to 12,291,000.

“Employment in manufacturing declined by 29,000 in March,” said the BLS’ monthly release on the national employment situation. “Most of the job losses occurred in durable goods industries (-24,000), including machinery (-7,000), primary metals (-3,000) and semiconductors and electronic components (-3,000).
We need Trump to save our jobs with his fair trade policies. The country can't afford to keep losing jobs so the greedy people on top can get even richer.

Starts around page 34. Well worth the read. He linked to a white supremacist site, then said he didn't realize it was a white supremacist site, then defended the things the white supremacists were saying.
But not because he is aligned with that belief system, but dammit, the rhetorical point had to be made that an equivalency could be argued between the beliefs of that site and ___________ (fill in the blank) group's site.  it was a demonstration of high-mindedness and retitude, nothing else, and anybody suggesting otherwise is hurtful, ignorant, and will, reluctantly, be put on ignore, since he is above participating in some discussions.
