That's long been a desperation tactic by the right. If you say that you think something is ok, they'll come up with something totally ridiculous and totally unrelated. Example: why would gay marriage bother anybody? 'Duh, what's next? Humans marrying barnyard animals?'
This has to be the most ridiculous thing I have seen yet and given some of the other things you have posted that is saying a lot.
