So Trump has done all this just to get Hillary elected as a favor to his good friend Bill, right?

And you forgot blow up the GOP and make them look like utter fools in the course of it, so a trifecta.

If that was the reality it would've looked exactly the same.

 
Just watched the 60 minutes interview.  Even Pence is laughing like this is crazy.

I didn't expect a response, I expected you to avoid the question.  

As when I asked you to provide the posts from Trump backers we should be reading, I don't expect you to answer a question that has to provide any actual positives.  

The depth of your argument is one long, rambling Max Threshold post.  We already have one of him.  'But the other guys did this or that'.  

What's messed up is that in a Trump thread, you want to discuss rabid Hillary support, a rare thing indeed, that you seem to believe is everywhere.  It simply not there.  We're 1,000 pages into a Hillary thread, and I don't think I've posted in it.  

You are scolding people for having blinders on regarding Trump, and we need to open our minds and listen.

 Here's the news: there's nothing there. There's zero substance. The only thing this guy reads is magazine articles  about himself. He doesn't have a coherent, strong stance on anything, aside from illegal immigrants, and his plan for that is the plan of a 6-year-old boy--and not a particularly bright 6-year-old boy.

Any foreign head of state that has two brain cells is going to waltz in, throw a bunch of compliments at him, and disco out with whatever he wants.  In any negotiation or discussion with anyone from another country, Trump will be the dumbest guy in the room.  

He has zero respect, and little support, from the political party he claims to be a part of.  His lack of fundraising and indifference to the GOP will have affects in many smaller races.  Which is great if you are a rabid Democrat.  

If the liberals were to create a perfect GOP nominee, to tear apart their party, make them look silly and racist, and turn the convention into a sad joke, they couldn't even come up with this clown.  He would be beyond their wildest dreams.

If this had happened to a normal politician, the campaign would have blamed it on a low-level speechwriter, they would have had a token firing, and the media would have completely forgotten about it by Tuesday night.

But Trump can't do that because he's such a narcissist that he can't ever admit fault. If he admits that his wife made a mistake, then it's kind of like admitting that he didn't pick out a perfect wife.

So, Trump is going to go on the offensive. He's going to tell everyone that Melania's speech was the best speech ever, that it was completely original, and that anyone who criticizes her speech is anti-America (yada yada yada, you know the drill). And instead of making the issue disappear, Trump's actions will cause the issue to linger for days (if not weeks), overshadowing the convention and the campaign.

Disagree completely.

Obama was a US Senator. He was very well-versed in the issues.

Eisenhower may not have had political experience, but at least he had military experience.

Trump not only doesn't have any experience, he doesn't have any knowledge of the issues either.

If he was applying for any normal job with such a lack of qualifications his resume would be in the trash in about 5 seconds.

Obama had years as a state legislator and at least had time in the Senate, and the man showed up for battle intellectually.

Trump is the only presidential nominee in American history who has never worked for the government.

Today show had a pre-speech interview with Melania where she bragged about personally writing nearly all of it herself.

Trump's success in business was all based on real estate.  His father loaned him money, that he never earned or created himself, and got involved with NYC real estate. Not for nothing, but that's been a pretty safe investment, you just need the capital to get in the game. Which Daddy gave him.

Any business he has created on his own, aside from exploiting his own fame and licensing his name, has ended in bankruptcy, lawsuits, or investors losing their money. Often, all three.  

Renting out his name on stuff, I doubt that's going to come in handy as president.  

He's not even some Wall Sreet wiz, who sees the trends before they happen, I could see that coming in handy.

The nature of Bush's service in the National Guard was a big issue. Trump's draft dodging is something the GOP rivals didn't drive home and Hillary's campaign hasn't touched it either. It seems to be wide open for them though.

Combination. There were a couple dustups that left bad feelings, there was definitely an exodus. However it's also probably exhausting defending Donald, worst thing is he will pull the rug out from some argument that required defending the week before.

Obama came from nothing and graduated from Harvard Law School, was President of the Law Review, became a Constitutional Law Professor at the University of Chicago Law School, and wrote a best selling memoir.  So please, tell me how he's not a self-made success?

I fully agree that if what the GOP is right now, then no, I'm not a Republican.  As for the rest of your post, entertaining reading as it was, I really have no crisis of personality or political identity saying that I am not a Republican.  I was once.  Not anymore.  Not if this is what a Republican is.  So if your post was meant to attack me, you wasted your time.  It's not the insult you would think it is anymore.

Obama's qualifications for President were superior to Trump's.  Even trying this argument is just laughable of you.
