And you forgot blow up the GOP and make them look like utter fools in the course of it, so a trifecta. So Trump has done all this just to get Hillary elected as a favor to his good friend Bill, right?
What other explanation for this #### show could there be?
So you believed that email, too? Shocking.Snopes is a left wing machine, please.
Everywhere? In which thread are we going to talk about Melania stealing Michelle Obama's speech?
I didn't expect a response, I expected you to avoid the question. You're gonna be munching that popcorn a good long while, you can take that up with the other guy as to why.
stole a speech.
maybe drumpf can have Michele and Barack speak at the RNC convention as well. So sadIf this had happened to a normal politician, the campaign would have blamed it on a low-level speechwriter, they would have had a token firing, and the media would have completely forgotten about it by Tuesday night.Sure would be nice to have a Corey Lewandowski to fire right about now.
There are numerous offshore betting sites that will take action on the U.S. presidential race. There is no way this guy wins. Is there a way to bet that Trump won't be president?
Disagree completely.Neither did Obama, as I recall. ETA - not an endorsement of Trump, just pointing out that experience for the office is over-rated. Eisenhower led armies - no political experience either, He turned out to be a pretty good President. Now does that mean Trump would be? No - there are other considerations, but lack of experience is not one of them.
Do not put Ike in this conversation, I beseech you.Neither did Obama, as I recall. ETA - not an endorsement of Trump, just pointing out that experience for the office is over-rated. Eisenhower led armies - no political experience either, He turned out to be a pretty good President. Now does that mean Trump would be? No - there are other considerations, but lack of experience is not one of them.
Trump is the only presidential nominee in American history who has never worked for the government.Obama was a US Senator. He was very well-versed in the issues.
Eisenhower may not have had political experience, but at least he had military experience.
Trump not only doesn't have any experience, he doesn't have any knowledge of the issues either.
Today show had a pre-speech interview with Melania where she bragged about personally writing nearly all of it herself. If this had happened to a normal politician, the campaign would have blamed it on a low-level speechwriter, they would have had a token firing, and the media would have completely forgotten about it by Tuesday night.
But Trump can't do that because he's such a narcissist that he can't ever admit fault. If he admits that his wife made a mistake, then it's kind of like admitting that he didn't pick out a perfect wife.
So, Trump is going to go on the offensive. He's going to tell everyone that Melania's speech was the best speech ever, that it was completely original, and that anyone who criticizes her speech is anti-America (yada yada yada, you know the drill). And instead of making the issue disappear, Trump's actions will cause the issue to linger for days (if not weeks), overshadowing the convention and the campaign.
If this RNC spectacle has taught us anything“I’m worried that I will be the last Republican president,” Bush said at a reunion for his administration in Dallas, Politico Magazine reported Tuesday morning.
The best is they spent 8 years talking about "community organizer" and how inexperienced Obama is/was. Then put up Trump? Its just freaking hilarious. The GOP has twice before run nominees without political experience - Wendell Wilkie and Herbert Hoover.
I don't think Wendell Wilkie did either.Trump is the only presidential nominee in American history who has never worked for the government.
They also killed Obama for large crowds and being a celebrityThe best is they spent 8 years talking about "community organizer" and how inexperienced Obama is/was. Then put up Trump? Its just freaking hilarious.
And using a teleprompterThey also killed Obama for large crowds and being a celebrity![]()
That's partisan politics.
They are both people of color as well. Weirdly similar these twoAnd using a teleprompter
i'm in TX, i've found 5 suckers already. :boatloads:There is no way this guy wins. Is there a way to bet that Trump won't be president?
You don't see the difference? Trump's success in business vs Obama basically having accomplished nothing when he ran.The best is they spent 8 years talking about "community organizer" and how inexperienced Obama is/was. Then put up Trump? Its just freaking hilarious.
I think you mean "success", right? You don't see the difference? Trump's success in business vs Obama basically having accomplished nothing when he ran.
Willkie was a military vet so at least he could say that he served his country.I don't think Wendell Wilkie did either.
Fixed that for you.You don't see the difference? Trump'ssuccessinherited wealth and bankruptcies in business vs Obama basicallyhaving accomplished nothingbeing a self-made success and millionaire when he ran.
I don't know why people keep calling him a clown. Just because the guy has funny hair, wears gobs of makeup, amuses large crowds of people while others find him incredibly frightening doen't mean...This is Krusty the Clown running for mayor.
...nevermind. Donald was a draft dodger so we know that he didn't serve.Willkie was a military vet so at least he could say that he served his country.
Trump's success in business was all based on real estate. His father loaned him money, that he never earned or created himself, and got involved with NYC real estate. Not for nothing, but that's been a pretty safe investment, you just need the capital to get in the game. Which Daddy gave him.You don't see the difference? Trump's success in business vs Obama basically having accomplished nothing when he ran.
What a great post.I didn't expect a response, I expected you to avoid the question.
As when I asked you to provide the posts from Trump backers we should be reading, I don't expect you to answer a question that has to provide any actual positives.
The depth of your argument is one long, rambling Max Threshold post. We already have one of him. 'But the other guys did this or that'.
What's messed up is that in a Trump thread, you want to discuss rabid Hillary support, a rare thing indeed, that you seem to believe is everywhere. It simply not there. We're 1,000 pages into a Hillary thread, and I don't think I've posted in it.
You are scolding people for having blinders on regarding Trump, and we need to open our minds and listen.
Here's the news: there's nothing there. There's zero substance. The only thing this guy reads is magazine articles about himself. He doesn't have a coherent, strong stance on anything, aside from illegal immigrants, and his plan for that is the plan of a 6-year-old boy--and not a particularly bright 6-year-old boy.
Any foreign head of state that has two brain cells is going to waltz in, throw a bunch of compliments at him, and disco out with whatever he wants. In any negotiation or discussion with anyone from another country, Trump will be the dumbest guy in the room.
He has zero respect, and little support, from the political party he claims to be a part of. His lack of fundraising and indifference to the GOP will have affects in many smaller races. Which is great if you are a rabid Democrat.
If the liberals were to create a perfect GOP nominee, to tear apart their party, make them look silly and racist, and turn the convention into a sad joke, they couldn't even come up with this clown. He would be beyond their wildest dreams.
Away from the liberal asylum that all Trump threads become. Is this what the Trumpettes have left? Complaining about people saying mean things about the dummy![]()
The guy just laid out his plans to defeat ISIS: a few boots on the ground somewhere.
Where have all the Higgs gone?
The nature of Bush's service in the National Guard was a big issue. Trump's draft dodging is something the GOP rivals didn't drive home and Hillary's campaign hasn't touched it either. It seems to be wide open for them though.Donald was a draft dodger so we know that he didn't serve.
Only an issue when it's a democrat.
Is that what's happening or is it impossible to defend the guy.Away from the liberal asylum that all Trump threads become.
Combination. There were a couple dustups that left bad feelings, there was definitely an exodus. However it's also probably exhausting defending Donald, worst thing is he will pull the rug out from some argument that required defending the week before. Is that what's happening or is it impossible to defend the guy.
We all know he exaggerates his wealth, but at this point I'm starting to doubt he's even a billionaire. You don't see the difference? Trump's success in business vs Obama basically having accomplished nothing when he ran.
It's ironic that Trump supporters frequently point with pride to Trump's history of scamming ignorant people.Any business he has created on his own, aside from exploiting his own fame and licensing his name, has ended in bankruptcy, lawsuits, or investors losing their money. Often, all three.
Orange is the new black. They are both people of color as well. Weirdly similar these two![]()
Obama came from nothing and graduated from Harvard Law School, was President of the Law Review, became a Constitutional Law Professor at the University of Chicago Law School, and wrote a best selling memoir. So please, tell me how he's not a self-made success?Delusion at its finest.
I'm pretty sure you just besmirched an entire profession...I don't know why people keep calling him a clown. Just because the guy has funny hair, wears gobs of makeup, amuses large crowds of people while others find him incredibly frightening doen't mean......nevermind.
I fully agree that if what the GOP is right now, then no, I'm not a Republican. As for the rest of your post, entertaining reading as it was, I really have no crisis of personality or political identity saying that I am not a Republican. I was once. Not anymore. Not if this is what a Republican is. So if your post was meant to attack me, you wasted your time. It's not the insult you would think it is anymore.Ministry of Pain said:So you are casting your vote for Clinton. It's not a game, you dislike Trump more than Clinton, you really are not a Republican.
Some...I assume...are good people.I'm pretty sure you just besmirched an entire profession...
I agree, 4-8 more years of someone mimicking an Obama would be ideal. To hell with Donald, Melania for president!
Pretty sure he came from Kenya.Obama came from nothing and graduated from Harvard Law School, was President of the Law Review, became a Constitutional Law Professor at the University of Chicago Law School, and wrote a best selling memoir. So please, tell me how he's not a self-made success?
Trump has success in real estate. Yay...that has zero to do with being president. You don't see the difference? Trump's success in business vs Obama basically having accomplished nothing when he ran.
