I don't get this major shift where people think America has fallen apart. It seems like every election before 2016, if a candidate even hinted that America wasn't #1 they would get tore to shreds. What shook Americans so much?
A lot of people's lives are still not as good as they were before the 2008 collapse. At least they have jobs driving for Uber now.

Who do they think the are? The IRS? Keep it up assclowns. New sheriff in town 1/20/2017. You can do it the easy way or the hard way. Your choice.

It only took Obama eight years to destroy 240 years of law and order in this country.

The DoE is an executive department. Means that you don’t have a choice come January.
There is always a choice.

When Trump builds that wall and rounds up those illegals a boatload of highpaying jobs doing landscaping and fruit picking will open up. And when those factories are given tax breaks to not leave the country there will be plenty of jobs for robots.

It's called honor and integrity. Not something i'd expect a Trump supporter to understand.
He is just trying to weed out all the people that were benefiting from the global warming bs.  It's one thing if you want to help the environment, it's another when your trying to grease the palms of all your buddies. . Like that whole solyndra scandal.

You honestly believe that the science which is supported by 99% of experts is just a bunch of bs. Really. You're entitled to your own opinions. You're not entitled to your own facts.

8 years ago, I was a pretty staunch Republican, and was aghast about what Obama was going to do - TARP, the bailout, healthcare reform, and all the rest.  At least Obama was putting smart, qualified people in place, even if I didn't agree with them politically I could respect them.

Now, my views have evolved and I'm aghast about that Trump is going to do, but I'm even more dismayed that is is putting unqualified morons in place.

Yeah, no.  DOE is a cabinet-level agency with a bunch of scientists and engineers.  You start changing fundamental policy and going against the recommendations of the subject matter experts, and the agency is gonna slow to a crawl.  Can't fire them either, unless you think you can find nuclear propulsion scientists and biochemical engineers working at your local Hardies.

What the individual agencies can do is baffle the White House with so much bureaucracy that the administration spends months trying to get their policies changed/implemented, or they just simply give up.   Usually it comes to a compromise but blanket politically-backed changes to government can be met with a lot of strong resistance.
I think this is going to happen a lot, in fact I think Trump will find himself battling his own administration a good deal. His views are extreme even vs many goppers/cons, he doesn't delegate well and a lot of his execs will have little to no federal government experience.

I believe in global warming, and I believe that there is a human impact.  I'm skeptical about how great that impact is, and if it really matters in the grand scheme of things.

Happens to every president.  Reagan tried to get rid of the ATF, Clinton tried to change defense, Bush II never had a grasp of any DOJ component without creating a scandal, and Obama struggles with the monster known as Homeland Security.

I won't speak for him, but I believe @3C's was almost in the same camp as you.

Some people just can't imagine voting for the other side or not supporting their side.

I know the honks won't believe it but if Hillary had won and started packing the Exec branch with buffoons, I'd call her out on it too.

For those unfamiliar with our friend Pizzagate here, what he's pushing here is yet another bit of right wing conspiracy theory fiction.  He's referring to the fact that a trusted longtime Obama adviser (and Clinton admin player before that) named Abe Michael Froman, who helped lead the Obama transition team, worked at Citigroup during the Bush II administration and sent some emails on appointments from his Citi address before returning to public service with the Obama White House.

Hey, dummy..."law and order" in this country didn't start in 1776.

That's not quite what was revealed. The email was from a Citigroup Exec that was part of BO's transition team. The email gave suggestions and outlined what mostly ended up being the cabinet. It doesn't show Citi picked them, it shows Obama and his team had mostly prepared for victory and had their Cabinet ready for day 1 and a smooth transition. Trump has plenty of advisors helping him pick people as well.

Jesus, amigo, half the discussion is about the influence of Russian disinformation and you see no issue with posting to Russia Today to make some claim? No bells ring off for you when you do this?
Good Lord, I didn't even notice that's where his source is.  Is this where the alt-right gets their news?

come on people - we have to do better!

Late to the party and just getting home from work. BUT WTF!  Kanye is meeting with President Donald?   Does anyone remember the ####ake storm that Obama got for meeting with Beyonce.  ####### Kanye West!      The end days are near.

Watch for Trump to make Kanye an informal Ambassador to help with inner city rivival. Dems will go crazy over this. Perfect!
Nothing wrong with the idea but Kanye isn't a great choice for that.  He's mentally unstable and is not popular amongst black peoples living in the inner cities.

This is why I question when you guys are trying to have a conversation with them.  They are in outer space.

Incoming first lady Melania Trump appears in Maryland county courtroom

Incoming first lady Melania Trump appeared in a Maryland courtroom Monday for a scheduling conference as legal proceedings geared up in her defamation suit against a Montgomery County blogger and a British tabloid.

“Mrs. Trump was not required to attend the court conference but chose to do so to meet the judge, meet opposing counsel and show her commitment to the case,” said her attorney, Charles J. Harder.

...

Montgomery Circuit Judge Sharon Burrell scheduled trial for Nov. 6 through 22, 2017.

Trump did not speak other than to politely respond to Burrell’s greeting.

On Sept. 1, in Montgomery Court, Trump sued blogger Webster Tarpley, 70, and the Daily Mail for defamation. Her attorneys cited published allegations, including those made in Tarpley’s blog post, according to court records.

In the lawsuit, Trump alleged Tarpley and the Daily Mail had published false assertions that, earlier in her life, she had worked as a high-end escort. Both publications retracted their stories.

Tarpley has said that he did not libel Melania Trump, and was passing on “unfounded rumors and innuendo” that had appeared on the Internet.

None of the claims or defenses were discussed at Monday’s hearing.

The blogger was not there. Attorneys for him and for the Daily Mail were present. ...

STATEMENT REGARDING MELANIA TRUMP LAWSUIT

September 1, 2016

Melania Trump’s lawsuit against me is without merit. Mrs. Trump is a public figure actively engaged in the Trump for president campaign. We are confident that Mrs. Trump will not be able to meet her high burden of proving the statements published about her on my website were defamatory in any way. Her lawsuit is a blatant attempt to intimidate not only me but journalists of all stripes into remaining silent with regard to public figures. This lawsuit is a direct affront to First Amendment principles and free speech in our democratic society.
—Webster G. Tarpley
