I was like did you make an offer? No, of course not.
Folks need to use & pay attention to the “on the block”. The worst is when people list 80% of their team but don’t list needs.

The right thing to do in this particular situation is to sell Jeudy to the other guy for more

That said, I really need a BYE coverage player. In a start 10 format with no D/ST & no K, I had Higgins, ETN, Bijan, AJB, Quentin Johnston, AT Perry, and ARSB with either a week 5 or week 12 BYE.
Oh yeah, and Pitts/Conklin both week 12 in a mandatory start 1 TE format.
So no way I can trade him - I’m not sure I can actually field a lineup either of those weeks without him. lol

Nice work. I think Jeudy is going to at least be good for spot start if not more.
those weeks are a long way off. I never even start looking at bye weeks until after the drafts for the year and then I might worry about it or I might not. I have never really minded having all my guys out the same week. I am going to lose some games might as well make it one week so I am strong all the other weeks.

Well, for 1 I like to compete every week.
For 2, you’re required to set a lineup and I would have been a player short at 9 without adding someone.
But mostly I like the value of the acquisition. Could be better with a change of scenery. Still only 25. Didn’t cost much.

Breece for me, but it seems pretty close value wise.
Kind of trade I'd guess most trade calcs would lean the multi-package but in reality I don't like giving up such a premium asset for a possible mid future draft first and two players whose long term value I have some concerns over, which may be unfounded, just neither feels like a clean kind of "hang your hat" as a future building block value.
To me Breece is roughly equal to Bijan. See that trade a few posts up where Bijan got so much more back. Some talk if that trade was any two of Brooks, Rome and Kincaid would have still been equitable. I will say I'd talke any two of those 3 over this return.

And like in that deal, it would take all 3 for me as a Breece shareholder, because rookies are volatile and Breece is a bona fide cornerstone player.
For it to be 2 players for Breece (or Bijan) I’d need one verified stud, like an ARSB or AJB or something like that. The risk of 3 rookies slightly lowers the value of that return in my eyes.
As always, in a 3:1 deal, the team getting the 1 usually wins the trade.

Easily smash accept. Davis' 2023 ADP was way higher than it should have been because of that 4TD game. Davis' 2024 ADP is way lower than it should be due to fantasy managers getting burned last season. He's a great depth piece and will likely give you 4-5 solid starts. Hopefully his floor with the Jags offense will be higher than it was with the Bills. Hopefully, he'll get used as, you know, an actual WR instead of a defacto blocking TE.16 team SF PPR IDP TE-P

Really depends on IDP scoring and # of starters. In my main league I’d probably prefer Spillane, but then we start 3 LBs and usually a 4th in the IDP flex. Solo tackles are 3 points, and starting LBs are about as valuable as RBs and WRs.16 team SF PPR IDP TE-P

That said, I’m considering the following in my semi dynasty (cutdowns are vicious: keep your starters plus one additional at QB RB WR TE DL LB DB DST)

Get: Roquon
3 points a solo tackle produces big numbers, and no one wins the ship without good LB production. I’ve got a stacked team (detailed below if anyone cares) except my LB room has been a **** show for several years. Team “Philly Homer” has asked for Nakobe Dean or my 2.05 in addition to Saquon. Final detail on the trade is I’ll have to cut or sell cheap either Tyjae Spears (if I don’t trade Saquon) or one of Jack Campbell, Nakobe Dean, or Troy Andersen.
Anticipated keepers:
Burrow, Prescott
Saquon, J Taylor, ETN (T Spears, C Brown, and K Miller get cut)
J Jefferson, Puka, Olave, T Higgins, JSN, C Watson, Jamo (M Wilson gets cut)

So it’s performance scoring, and Spillane put up 20-30 a week. He was very consistent.
That said, I have 4 very solid LB remaining, and 2 upside guys behind them. RS was my LB4, and it’s a very flexy lineup. I can start an extra safety during the BYEs and not miss a beat.
Meanwhile my WR corps behind Lamb, AJB, & Nico was Lockett, Burton & Bateman. Less than ideal depth. Davis will likely flex into an offense spot more often than not.
So while I agree Spillane is a solid piece, I had a bigger need at WR. In this format it’s pulling teeth to get one from anyone.

Not sure why you’d need to give more than Saquan. I’ve found that it’s a lot harder to deal defense for offense.
You should be able to get a top LB for Barkley pretty easily I’d imagine.

1 QB I get it, but I don’t love it. Even in 1 QB Mahomes is the only proven commodity in this deal. I’m on the Mahomes side. I understand why some would prefer the rookies.
I’d make that deal for Goff. Again, proven commodity. Plus DET is a top offense, NEP is… not.
I like the haul on the surface but I actually have Mahomes on about half of my FFPC teams and would not trade him for this in any of them due to roster constraints.
Be a great trade for a depleted thin roster/rebuild.

Even with all those weapons Goff is just a guy for fantasy purposes, He's not someone I'd even want to keep as my second QB in a single FFPC league when cuts are due. Maye could be a tough hold for a year but his upside is as much any QB's in this draft. See the Mahomes trade and what a real legit QB of value can bring in even this format and I'm hunting for that. All 4 of those pieces in that deal are individually valued higher then Goff and it's just not that big of a stretch for Maye could ascend to having that kind of value, or at least what prime Herbert had. I'd rather take my shots on that over something I feel like I can find almos anywhere.

We are currently on the clock with pick 1.10 and the trade just happened.
We also had another predraft trade a day before the draft kicked off of a 2021 1st and pick 5.10 for pick 2.04.
It sure be nice if I got those kind of trades
