****OFFICIAL DYNASTY TRADES**** (27 Viewers)

Not involved, FFPC:

Team A got: ETN and Bateman

Team B got: Roschon/K Herbert, Nico Collins, first, second and third round 2024 picks.
Lot's of tbd here, could end up being wildly in favor of either side, which means it's probably fair. I'd take Team A unless the draft pick was from a bottom feeder.

I'd project the picks in the 7-12 range. At least two powerhouse teams in the league and that's not one of them but should be a playoff team and just about anything can happen in a 1-2 week window at the end of the season. Not a bottom feeder for sure.

I thought the trade was fair, I'd lean the ETN side due to the picks not projecting as non playoff and I'm not looking to invest heavily in the Bears backfield.

it's entirely different than what he originally said, which is what I replied to
Not entirely no.
Jeez. Yes, it's entirely different. One is an absolute dealing in direction only, the other deals in magnitude/speed regardless of direction.

Picks don't lose value- demonstrably false, sometimes they do
Picks are less volatile than players- generally accepted as true

Bonds don't lose value- demonstrably false, sometimes they do
Bonds are less volatile than stocks- generally accepted as true

Agreed all around.

You’re just more literal than I am. It’s ok, some folks are wired that way.

I tend to look at FF valuations as variable all around, so when making a sweeping generalization I assume that no one is going to take it that literally.

Glad we found some middle ground.

12 Team, 1QB/PPR/No TE Premium

Team A (K Herbert Owner) receives D Foreman/ Team B (1.1 Pick owner) received T Allgeier (yes, boring)
Team A - Receives Goedert/ Team C - Receives Dulcich/2.4

But that said that’s a pretty good haul for them.

But that that said. The upside of both Bateman & ETN seems > than any of the pieces in return.

Feels like a lot of scraps and a 1st for 2 players who each have a relatively high ceiling. I roster both and smash reject on this deal pretty confidently.

12 team, 1 QB, TE prem PPR

Team A- ETN, Higgins, Pickens

Team B- Jefferson, 24' 3rd
It’s not a bad deal. I feel that whenever there is trade involving JJ or Chase 90+% of people automatically assume it’s not enough no matter the package.

Edit: wording, and multiple different trade calculators (including my own, *sarcasm*) have the package side comfortably ahead here. That’s three very good, and young, pieces for JJ.

I thought it was a fair package. JJ has questions for Cousins after this year, but other than the estimated RBBC ETN & Tank will share, Tee & Pickens are unquestionably valuable pieces in the deal.
I am an ETN fan. I would be hard pressed to turn it down if I had JJ ....

14 team .. no ppr

Terrible trade happened last night (not involved) ..

N Harris
for
GSmith and 2023 Pick 1.14

Team trading Harris has Ekeler and DPierce and no backup QB, but still.... UGH

There are definitely guys I like available at 1.14 that would make this a fine deal to me. I’d rather wait until on the clock to know for sure what I’m looking at, but I don’t see it as a terrible trade at all.

Najee is way, way outside of the player pool I work with. Several guys at 1.14 that are inside.

JJ easily. But, unlike you, I'm not a fan of ETN or Pickens.

I would want just the picks over Bateman & ETN. The CHI RBs are gravy.

12 team PPR

Team A gave up D London

Team B gave up a '24 first (probably mid range) and Rasheed Rice.
Why does someone bail on London at this early stage of his career for this kind of package. Amazing
It is odd unless they are strangely high on Rice. London showed enough last season to continue to be excited about his future, although he has a few hurdles to increase his value much more (new QB, run first offense, Bijan, healthy Pitts…etc). Regardless he showed he can play in this league and seems to be hungry to continue to improve.

It's for some of these reasons I gave London up. Run first offense, questionable qb to say the least, etc.

I can understand that a little, but talent usually rises above and finds its level. I did the opposite and bought him for Ridley as I wanted to get younger and had great depth. Good luck, hope you land Marvin HJr.

London for Ridley? Interesting. I would have done that too from a longevity standpoint.

Rebuild continues in a 32 team league.
  • OZ gave up Jones, Aaron GBP RB; Bateman, Rashod BAL WR; McLaurin, Terry WAS WR
  • B gave up Williams, Javonte DEN RB; Williams, Jameson DET WR

1 QB Dynasty/Devy League

So, last year I was one of the favorites to reach the Championship game. I lost my 2 starting RBs (J Taylor/ D Swift) and TE (Kittle) at one point and felt I needed to refortify my team.
Traded:
P Mahomes
for
D Henry
Hockenson

I also had J. Allen & L Jackson at QB, but still wouldn't have traded Mahomes if my team wasn't in a crunch. Was concerned that I wouldn't be able to get out of Henry at a decent price.

So ended up with this trade yesterday:
D. Henry
C Ridley
Bills D

for

Tee Higgins
Raheim Sanders Devy Ark RB
Trey Sanders Devy TCU RB
Adam Randall Devy Clemson WR
Tampa D

Basically moving Henry & Ridley for Higgins and Raheim Sanders (who I like a lot).

My guess is because of Arthur Smith and a lack of belief in Ridder. I believe in Ridder a bit but I don't see anything to make me think there are going to be FF relevant WR targets on a consistent basis. I've considered moving on from London because of this fear that they're just going to pound the rock like crazy. I don't like this deal but if the player were someone I liked more than Rice I'd probably have a hard time saying no. I realize the counter is "ok but ALL the WR targets are going to go to London" but I'm not so sure that's as true as it sounds. I think Mack Hollins is actually a sneaky late WR in best ball if you stack Atlanta. But anyway I don't like this one but don't think it's nuts.

24 team 2 copies of
24 team TEP 11 starters 2 copies of each player (and our rookie draft starts this weekend - this is my only non-FFPC dynasty team)

I gave Pacheco
I got Elijah Moore, 3.18
It is also a 1QB league and although I earned the 1.20 with a playoff team last year, I did this:

I gave 2024 1st (mine), 3.22
I got 1.19 OTC and took Quentin Johnston

I tried to shop my 1.20 around after that but to no avail and so then I took Kendre Miller next.

I gave 2024 2nd (mine), Josh Palmer
I got Toney

I traded
2024 2nd
2024 4th
Courtland Sutton

For
2.05 - I drafted tyjae spears
3.05
Sorry. I am not a Spears fan (that no cartridge thing has me nervous) but I actually believe in Sutton. The whole Denver Offense was in shambles last year. I suspect (hope?) WR 35-42 range for Sutton. Simple WR3 value for little cost

I have been shopping Sutton for over a month to every owner, and not a one wanted anything to do with him. I did not get much value for him, I know. However, I still have him in 1 out of 3 dynasty leagues, I can still root a little for him.

I should still be set for WR 3 with some combination as Ridley, Gabe Davis, or Quinten Johnson behind Sun God and DK Metcalf.

I like Spears, I just want a year and a half out of him and I will be happy.
