The content of what she's saying if fine, but I almost get the feeling that she thinks we're "dating" already. Friday morning update:

It's going to be a slow weekend for the Banker. 2 of the top 3 current prospects are away for the weekend. Right now my top prospects are serious dating types. No "hooks up" pending for me from this group of 3. Now there are a couple of those in the "B" group, but they can stay on the bench for now.

Shy Tiny Blone-is in Florida, returning Monday. We will discuss a Tuesday meeting. She lives about an hour and a half away, this is the part that sucks.

Talked to "The Teacher" last night. A very nice girl and really seems to have her #### together. I really like the confident girls who are also low maintenance at the same time. The only thing with this one.....she wants to only be "friends" to start. Is this just woman schtick for I won't sleep with you right away? Don't get me wrong, I am willing to wait a bit, just not forever. We are looking at setting something up soon. For now it looks like the phone until her work schedule clears (Works 2 jobs-Sub. I think it's just her approach to dating. Become friends first....to me it's still kind of like dating. Maybe to her it is less pressure and expectations, not sure? Just my hunch. I am going to pursue....who knows it may make for some funny updates.

I've seen many profiles that mention "friends first". I assumed they were just trying to weed out guys looking for a random hookup.If she actually said this in discussion though, I'd be concerned.

Anyway she sent me a note welcoming me back to the i.dating scene. She also included a new pic, and while not a "hottie" and decent looking gal and again has her #### together. It is her Birthday this weekend so I got shut down on the invite for drinks. She suggested during the coming week. Updates to follow. The stuff with The Teacher sounds strange to me. If she's looking to be "just friends", why the hell is she on a dating site? It's not any "woman speak" I've ever heard. Very odd, IMO.

I think it's just her approach to dating. Become friends first....to me it's still kind of like dating. Maybe to her it is less pressure and expectations, not sure? Just my hunch. I am going to pursue....who knows it may make for some funny updates.

I would go on dates with her and hit on other chicks, hey you're out with a "friend" Might lose her as a result but think of the entertainment value the stories could provide

I think this is bad news...either means (a) she's not that into you or (b) she's already got something better going on and is hooking you as a backup...neither is good for you...I'd take one date and if the story doesn't change quickly I'd bail...

This was my impression as well...my first thought was that she's not into you and keeping you as a backup. We'll see, but you have plenty of other options anyway!
