Alright, kids.Well, to start out, this girl had the face of Lindsay Lohan (I'm serious...there were points last night that I couldn't tell the difference), and a nice, tiny, but tight little body. That was a nice surprise.So, I'm thinking...hey, this isn't going to be so bad!And then, she opened her mouth. This was the kind of girl that wasn't going to let you get a word in at ALL. Okay, so I've been on dates with these kinds of girls before. I position myself so I can look at her and listen to Sportscenter at the same time, and all was good.But, it wasn't.You see, every story this girl (who was 4'11", 89 pounds) told started out with, "Oh, I was so trashed..." and ended up with "Yeah, and then I threw up in..."So after about two drinks, I'm just staying for story value (to give you guys something to read). She lives in a smallish town, so there's only three bars open on Sunday night, and there's nobody in them. In every bar we went to, the bartenders looked at me with a certain degree of pity...because as small as this girl is, she's not quiet. Her stories are booming throughout every bar we were in, which is why I was particularly glad the town was pretty dead last night.Then, we figure out that we have the same birthday, and she goes off on that for about 30 minutes. After that, and the fact that she's now visibly drunk, I'm thinking it's time to leave, because I just can't take it anymore.I take her home, she gives me the whole "are you okay to drive? You can just stay here thing...", but I take the opening and tell her I'm just fine, and it won't be a big deal to drive the 20 minutes home. I was tempted to go up, but I don't even think sex was worth listening to this girl for what could've been hours on end afterward.It's too bad, too. She was really cute.

That's too bad Keys, if she was somewhat tolerable I bet she'd be worth exploring at least for a little while.
As for me, still no real updates past the confirmed dates - which is now up to 3 after I forgot I mentioned something to another girl a little bit ago and she just got back to me and is more than up for it. Going to call the girl my mom set me up with tonight, just so my mom doesn't look bad. Will update with pics as soon as I can access internet outside of work.
Also looks like Keys is heading up for a visit this weekend, so might need to find two or play a little wingman.

Went on my first idate...she was really cool so I accurately broke down her profile which is good, but her pictures made her look about 1 point hotter than she really was. She was probably an 8.5 in her pictures on the FBG scale and only about a 7.5 in person.
It probably wont go anywhere but should be fun in the short term.(and a headache later on)

she didn't really come out and volunteer the information......when I was driving her home I just basically said, "I like you, you're really cute, I had a good time...........but I feel like I have to work SOOOOOOOO much harder with you than normal to get anything out of you" meaning in a conversation/laughing/good time sense. We got to talking about our ex's.........and I just kind of asked what happened........and she said "he just wasn't a very good guy, kind of abusive, etc."........that was it. Later I asked her if she thought that might be why she has a hard time loosening up and she said yes. She had told me she had been in one serious relationship since the divorce and that eventually she opened up with him. I just couldn't tell if this girl liked me or not and I was trying to find out why she was the way she was. Still may be train wreck'ish..........not sure. Slow and steady though. No hand holding, no kissing, no nothing. We'll see where it goes. She has some catching up to do with the girl from the night before!krista4 said:Abusive relationship? All right. I've been slacking horrendously in this thread and with the iDating thing in general. But I knew that I was going to be out of town the last two weekends and had stuff lined up to do during the week as well. So I was planning on getting after it this week and actually paying for the Match subscription and throwing out some vibe (lol) on hotornot but I met someone over the weekend that I'm really interested in.
I went back home to Youngstown for a golf outing and met this girl on Friday night...pretty spectacular chick and we ended up hanging out after-hours Friday and again on Saturday night. Not really my type physically since I generally go for the spinners and she's a six-footer...but wow, I really am digging this girl. We could start popping out NFL tight ends tomorrow.
So now I'm thinking about heading home again this weekend and hopefully taking things to the next level. Part of the reason I'm so intrigued is that she resisted my spectacular ability to take a simple make-out session and turn it into a porn shoot...but she somehow managed to keep it at the make-out/touching-and-rubbing level for hours on end. And I was surprisingly okay with it. I know, kids...I'm scared too.
Anyway, I'm thinking of holding off for another week on the iDating thing.
Also, here's a strange little something...I was on the phone with her yesterday and she was talking about how much she loves her dog and throws out something along the lines of "If there was a stranger drowning and my dog was drowning next to him, I hope the guy has a friend somewhere nearby". I actually think this is something to watch closely...if it was just "it's too soon, but when I'm ready it's on" that's one thing...but it could also be a sign of "I decide when and I'll use it as a weapon if I have to to get what I want"...don't want to rain on your parade, sounds like an exciting prospect, but keep a close eye on this one...So now I'm thinking about heading home again this weekend and hopefully taking things to the next level. Would rolling up the sleeves be too much? Do I take the tie off? Leave it on but loosened with top button unbuttoned or what? This girl just graduated from college so I doubt she's used to guys dressed nicely and I'm thinking if I pull this off right she'll think I'm more mature than the guys she dated in college but still "cool" and stuff.
