Truthfully, when it comes to the pics, it's all in how someone asks me. A polite (or just neutral) request is fine and understandable. I'm not sure how I'd feel if I got the "button"--I didn't know it existed (why do I feel like I'm working off some older version of eHarmony?). It's not that it would bother me, but there can be many reasons why someone would hold their picture back. For me, I wouldn't want to show it before open communication, and that's that. So if I got the button at an earlier stage, and there is no way to keep the match open but still not share the pic, then I'd probably close, too, unless the match were the moops, in which case I'd be sending lots of fake pictures of some hottie hoping to trick him into dumping his girlfriend and meeting me. :goodposting:BTW, in my prior iteration at eHarmony, I sent my usual well-thought-out initial open communication, and instead of any real reply, the guy sent something along the lines of "Why haven't you shared your picture? Are you hiding something? I might be talking to a rock for all I know." Closed him, but not before checking his pics and letting him know that he might want to consider NOT revealing his.
:XNah, just clicked the button, they click close. Not too worried about it, obviously...just think it's funny (and interesting). I would never do what the guys have done to you, obviously. That's just stupid.
I'm 1/1 getting pics with that button :bag:

... So what the hell is "ho-chunk'?
for real??
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ho-Chunk"Ho-Chunk or Winnebago (as they are commonly called) are a tribe of Native Americans, native to what are now Wisconsin and Illinois. The term "Winnebago" originally came from a name given to them by neighbouring Algonquian tribes, which meant something like "people of the stagnant water" (c.f. Ojibwe: Wiinibiigoo), though the exact translation is disputed. The French called them the Puans, translated into English as "Stinkards", based on the information given by rival groups of natives. The more correct, but less common English name for the tribe is "Ho-Chunk", from their original native name Hotcâŋgara, meaning "big fish people" (Radin 1990 p.5). The big fish in this case is probably sturgeon, once abundant in Lake Winnebago."

Got it. Sort of like our Ashinaabe/Ojibwe tribe here in the better state. And Keys, I'm gonna do everything in my power to get there.

don't get me wrong, you have good food (bison and cheese) and milwaukee is a pretty solid city... but MN is far superior with its lakes, dual city nightlife, sports teams, beer (microbrews>>>>>>>> miller and even leinie's), and only maybe the top half of our state is filled with hicks where you guys are pretty much loaded.

umm.... for one, Bison? WTF? Brats and cheese, #####, brats and cheese.and venison.

and ooh, you have a bunch of lakes?? WE HAVE TWO GREAT LAKES! You only have 1... WINNAH!!

and our sports teams are way better. Packers: 17 NFL Championships, Vikings: none; Bucks: 2 NBA CHampionships, no 5-year 1st round draft pick ban for cheating; T-Wolves: no championships, 5-year ban for illegally doing something with Joe Smith and his contract; Brewers > Twins, I'd explain more but baseball sucks... plus the Badgers are better than the Gophers in football, basketball, and hockey and it isn't even close. Minnesota is Wisconsin's ##### in every major sport in every imaginable way.

and Milwaukee = beer city, so don't even try this "Minnesota has better beer than Wisconsin" bull####... There are times when you can't be within a 20+ square mile radius without smelling the hopps, its outrageous... the whole #######' town smells like beer (and I'm not even referring to the fact that 90% of the population is drunk 90% of the time)

plus the Badgers are better than the Gophers in ....hockey and it isn't even close.
XI'm not going to join in this pissing match but the bolded part above is just absurd.
:goodposting: right, larry just basically invalidated himself by saying this. hell, UMN, UMD, and St. Cloud State would all woop up on the Badgers in hockey.

Thing is I've also enjoyed myself in Wisconsins so let's just leave it at that.

Wisconsin has more championships than any of those schools...now, sure Wisconsin might be having a down year in hockey this year ,but what you are doing is like saying hte Vikings are better than the Packers 'cuz they might win an extra game or two this year... big deal, 50 years of superiority are not erased for the sake of one year wonders...

Here's a question I get a lot, how would you answer it:

3. Which of the following things would you rather have lots of?

A) respect

B) money

C) fame

D) power

E) iCredDamn, I don't know. Way too many difficult questions at eharmony. Obviously C is the wrong answer. I'd say A is probably the best for making yourself sound good, if that's the goal with all these random questions.

met this chick at an Indians game

took her out a week and a half later to a place called Brio

one of those places that will not take a reservation, but thats cool cause we had a drink at the bar

talked about the alcohol we like/ dont like

enjoyed a nice dinner both trying to keep it lite

after dinner we went to some whole in the wall bar in the same complex, had a drink and then mutually decided (i can't remeber who brought it up), that we should head over to Dave and Busters to play games. I was getting a good vibe so on the way back to the parking lot i grabbed her arm to turn her around and kiss her. she responded well and we had a blast at the Dave and Busters bar, she even said "let me pay for the drinks here" fine with me.

we played video games and skee ball and stuff until the place had to close, i took her home and had another kiss, so much less akward when its not the first one at the end of the date.

i can update on other dates later, stupid work getting in the way

A is probably the safe choice which is what I have been going with, although I think B is probably the more honest choice - C & D are pretty weak.

A is the clear choice here, though I used to enter my own choice (E) of "time".
