no, that is in the rules, we said that when playoffs comes (and for short series) shorter rotations are fine... but during the season we had to have a 4 man rotation...not a 2.5 man rotation that Nipsey had in the last 9 games (Young started 4 out of 9 games, and pitched relief in one more)

Where does it say this in the rules? For a guy who cheated his way through the season, you sure are a stickler for fake rules all of a sudden.

when the rule about a minimum of 4 man rotations was made we talked about playoff rotations, too...quit lying, Nipsey, just admit you cheated and don't participate in league 2 if htey don't let me in (since your cheating was much worse than mine was)

First off, you're speaking to John Martinez, not Nipsey. Second, Nipsey did not sim fish. Show me one guy on his team that was simfished. There isn't one. Third, there was no rule from the get go that said guy's could pitch whenever you wanted them to. There simply wasn't. When the rule was "clarified" (and I don't think it ever was as Nipsey's final question went unanswered, go ahead and look), Nipsey went to the four man rotation. As far as guy's coming in for relief, I don't know why that happened. As far as using a pitcher in the last week of the season to hold a position and possibly win an award over a guy who DID cheat, well then i don't know what to say. I think WhatIfSports is contractually obligated to award the Cy Young to Cy Young.

No, Cy Young got it because he started 4 games and pitched 38 innings in the last 9 games of the season, not only bending, but outright DESTROYING our league rules...I would understand if Nipsey started him one extra time... but he started him TWO EXTRA GAMES!!! that is garbage and not fair at all...

Say what you want, I never used Mathewson in a way that was dishonest, I never moved my pitchers, they all started ever 4th game THE WHOLE YEAR... my starters deserve every recognition they get and for Nipsey to cheat to take that away from Mathewson is worse than anything I did because he KNEW he was cheating...

What Nipsey did wasn't cheating, as far as I'm concerned. What's the difference between a non-playoff team getting extra starts for a guy at the end of the season and a playoff team moving to a 2 or 3 man rotation in the playoffs? It's the same thing, and both happen in real life.
