Do you rate the guys that are not "key" bench players and include that in your analysis too? I think you should rate teams based on their entire bench, especially the pitchers. Real MLB staffs are usually 12 pitchers and these teams are only carrying 10, which in my mind makes them very important.Just my
i'll truly be surprised if any team regularly uses their 9th or 10th pitcher. Similarly I'll be surprised if people use their 14th or 15th hitting subs. While these are deep teams they're also top heavy teams. Actually, I give much props to your team. Some players might not have the name rec (Delahanty (sp?) and Brouthers) but are awesome players.Curious to see how your pitching stacks up in game play but I think you have one of the better teams for sure.Plus, I see you have over 10 MVPs and my guess is a lot of HoF's - should only help your glory.
Oso - are you doing more career stats (i.e. total win shares) or stats per 162 or stats per IP - or a combo of both. I find both useful because they show peak ability vs. production over time.
I'm currently haveing an internal strugle weather or not to take a Lefty(to make my staff 5 L and 5 R) or take another Righty that is surprisingly still out there and would be very solid value in round 25.(off to find some Missouri-Compromise-era pitcher that can go 1,000 IP/162)
