I dont know a good way to actually do it, but if you REALLY want to see how good a team is play a franchise. 12 years, starting with players rookie (or first year actually playing a lot) season and going rookie, 2nd year, 3rd, 4th... and on.

Excellent point. Over a one year SIM guys like Sam Rice and Ron Santo might very well turn out to be SIM machines. But it shouldn't happen season after season, SIM after SIM.

I will be running the next league. I have the experience, as I ran the Milker draft almost flawlessly. I made quick decisions, including drafting and all-world Milker squad. I think the participants would agree that the draft went smoothly, I was affable and a good time was had by all.

I hereby throw my hat into the ring and if anything, I do so to steal possible votes away from Capella.

While team officials insist that these were honest errors, the result of trying to retro-graft one draft into another (a move which critics have derisively termed "hijacking"), they still felt that these penalties were important for the good of the league, allowing it to move forward and focus on more important matters such as RIBS, Dragons, and multiple alias accounts.

The sanctions are:

No post-season play for this theme league

Immediate removal of the best Rivera, replacing with a Jesus Colome type pitcher
Immediate removal of the best Nomar, replacing with a SS that can't hold the jock of Pop Lloyd
Should another baseball draft occur, and oso be invited to join, forfeiture of the team's 1st round pick, replaced by consecutive picks in the 2nd round

Just fix the ####### team. Send an email to WIS to get the right players. They love us there.

There's no way a career .277 hitter should hit like this in a HOF league. If numbers like this hold up then there's a hell of a lot more luck in this than I would've hoped for. There have got to be some major corrections down the road. Not your fault Larry, you just drafted him. But if you expect those stats to hold up you're nuts. If they do hold up then .

.033/.009/-.078 averages from used season to WIS season...

14 more homers in WIS season over used season...

a lot more RBIs, but I've scored more runs than his team did in '67 I'm sure...

So your saying it makes total sense that one of the last picks in the draft and possibly in the bottom 2 or 3 starting 3rd baseman in the league should hit like this vs. HOF and all star pitching on a game by game basis? That Ron ####ing Santos should outhit a guy like Harmon Killebrew? If it happens Larry it's BS and adds a completely lucky and unrealistic factor into picking teams for a sim. Plain as that. Again, not your fault but please don't sit there and even attempt to say that it makes sense.

I'm saying that we all know its gonna stop eventually... he's on a 13 (14??) game hitting streak right now... so his BA is gonna be high... he doesn't get a hit in 2 games, though, and his average drops 30-40 points...you know that...

all I was saying is that his numbers weren't horribly off from what his numbers the year I got him in were...
