Because I really do think that LB's actions were pretty damn low...And also because he drafted Paul Quantrill, Tim Wakefield and Bobby Bonilla in an all - time baseball draft...

I don't think those three should get drafted in a "Stars of the 1990s" draft....

For the future, we should make sure that anyone who participates in a draft is adult enough to handle "mature situations"

I wont mention names and dont want to get personal, but if 15 guys all think along the same lines... much like what gets discussed in the lockeroom stays in the lockeroom... and one person that is going to narc everyone out, that destroys the entire integrity of a league.

If someone can not be man enough to understand that things that might not fly elsewhere should not be reported by anyone in the league (hey, if it is reported by an outside observer, more power to them) , I know that is not the type of person I want to join a league with.

I think when you decide to group up with 15-20 other guys, and they ALL see things one way, then you have to ask yourself this:Can you live by the rules and conditions of the league first?

Will you remain loyal to the league and not act in a way to hurt the league?

If either of those answers is No, then clearly you should not join these leagues in the future. That way, you wont be offended, and you will not ruin everyone elses fun.

I never said it was not "within your right" to tell Joe. I can say this - to put your personally offense above the place of almost TWENTY other people is selfish. It is within your right to report, and it is then within the right of everyone else to never want you included in anything on this board ever, ever, ever again.

If you want to take the ball home so no one else can play, that is fine. Don't expect to ever be invited out again.

Likewise, if I were to join a league with all sincere hard core Christians, I would not be spouting my issues with religion in that forum. Why? because the league would be for fun, and I would be the only one seeing things differently, and I would not want to cause friction or ruin the league because of my personal issues.

I would suggest you look long and hard at who is involved in an FBG league in the future and ask yourself... can you live with the type of people they are, and with the behaviors you expect to see in the thread? If not, why would you want to join something, only to ruin it for everyone?

and to put your personal views above the rules of hte message board that you are posting in shows the mods of hte board that you have no respect for them and that you really don't belong here...I don't care about 99% of the stuff in this post, but to say that it is wrong to report porn in the thread and a few other things I did report, and not get on the countless other people (Joe said it was at least 25 people) who also reported this thread for things that were probably lesser than what I reported it for is hypocritical and not fair or smart at all....

My name is Nipsey and I own a team called the "nips" in baseball sim league #XXXXX.  We have a bit of a problem and we'd like to know if you can help us come to a resolution that all parties involved can feel comfortable with.

The way our league is structured, each team is using a player's third highest salaried season (according to the salaries on your site).  We ran into a little grey area when it came to relievers that had at one time been starters (i.e. Dennis Eckersley).  It was decided that if you were going to draft the pitcher as a reliever, you'd use the third highest salaried season that player had as a reliever.

Anywho, we have a participant in our league (larryboy4444) who drafted a reliever (I won't mention the pitcher by name, but think "sucks") and he ended up using his third best overall season, not his third best season as a reliever.  He claims that when discussing the rule, the term "we could use" meant it was his choice whether or not he wanted to abide by this rule (as in "I can if I want to").  The rest of the league told him that wasn't the case and he needed to change to the correct season immediately.  Well, he balked.  For about a day.  And during that time, all hell broke loose in our chat thread we have on another site. 

It was decided after a league-wide petition had circulated that he'd be asked to leave the league.  Even Hanna Manlikova and the widow of Big Pun (hi Claire! :0))are with us on this.  My question is, can you refund his entry fee and pass the control of his team to another owner in the league (aaronr30)?  If we need to pay the refunded amount, one of our other owners (p_spock) has gladly agreed to foot the bill.  He said to just hammer his credit card again...no problem (and take $15 for yourself, "get something nice").

Please let us know if this can happen as we're eager to continue our league and I'm personally looking forward to continuing my quest to capture my first WIS league crown.
