The Voodoo squeaked by in the 10th. Your guys knocked Leiter out in the first inning. Babe Adams then shuts the Owning Machine down for 5 2/3, only to be replaced by a pinch hitter in the seventh. Then my bullpen proceeds to try once again to pull defeat from the jaws of victory.Thankfully, my bats were relatively hot. I gotta tinker with the pitchers' advanced settings to make sure they don't get pulled so easily.:gang:Huge series with Pickles starting today. Got a 7-game winning streak going against filler teams -- now the Voodoo have to keep it going against Mr. P's Owning machine. The Voodoo won the first series of the season against them 2-1 (before the nosedive).
If I can get two from Pickles in this series, my team can get back on track in the divisional race with Spartans next up.

Larry Boy is a like a dog that you've kicking and beating for years and then one day you can't take him anymore so you drive him out to the country and let him go. Then a couple days later he just shows up again. WTF? Of course the only thing left to do then is to take the dog out and shoot it...

Shaq would be considered a giant to them... Heck, I'm 6 feet tall and calling Shaq a giant compared to me would be accurate...
it all matters what you think a giant is... and I realize the Bible describes Goliath as 10 feet tall, but I don't think that is completely impossible... there are records that seem to show that there were some people who were that tall in ancient times...
why there were people that tall? No idea... but supposedly there was some evidence (the 15' long bed, some armor, etc. that would fit only peope who were enourmously tall, etc.)

C'Mon Capella...You went to law school...Use those powers of deductive reasoning...If a 15 foot bed was found, the ONLY conclusion to be drawn is that there must have been a 15 foot person also...

its more a coincidance... but the fact it matches and the fact that no one can come up with any other reason for a 15 foot LONG bed... if it was wide, it would be understandable (more poeple maybe), but why the extra length? who needs 15 feet of leg room? lol*no more 'til new thread*
