***OFFICIAL*** FFA MLB Draft (3 Viewers)

I can't believe anyone is taking Nipsey seriously...after all this is a guy who drafted the worst All-Time baseball team. What does he know about acting? ;)

Hoosiers is the third best sports movie ever made....can anyone name the top two?

Hint: They're both tied for #1.
Bull Durham is number one.
Bull Durham is number one. Period.Caddyshack is #2.
Bull Durham is a chick flick and shame on you.
Bull####. It's only got the chick storyline to make wives go to it with their husbands. That's the beauty of it--it's a hardscrabble guy's movie, and funny, but puts a head fake on the women so they watch it too.

When I win the division, I'm going to quote this post and you're going feel really dumb.

I think you've been bamboozled as you have your explaination backwards. I'll fix it for you.

Hint: The other #1 sports movie recently had a lead die. Also, it may be the best movie of all time.
Another person in the movie also died about three years ago. Both were men, both died young.

Pretty crazy that Pickles just went 8-2 and lost the division lead.

After that embarassing sweep by his team, I gave in and changed the lineup.  The Cowboys are 17-1 since then.

"Ouch."
I came into our series feeling like I really needed to get two from your team. We were on a 25-5 run ourselves.
I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you. 25-8 or may, maybe 26-7 doesn't sound like a bad run either.
Or even 27-6.17-3 is still pretty stout, of course. Pickles, you can thank me later.

Major League gets no love around here.

Come on, half the script is the daily schtick we read on the FFA. For example:

Pedro Cerrano: Bats, they are sick. I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid. I ask Jobu to come, take fear from bats. I offer him cigar, rum. He will come.

Eddie Harris: You know you might think about taking Jesus Christ as your savior instead of fooling around with all this stuff.

Pedro Cerrano: Jesus, I like him very much, but he no help with curveball.

Eddie Harris: You trying to say Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball?

One of my favorite movies of all time. I used to be able to literally quote it line by line.Favorite part is Charlie Sheen at the fancy restaurant with the jacket and tie and no shirt.

"I feel like a banker in this."

and...

"You want me to drag him outa here and kick the #### out of him?"

That thread Nipsey started about the wine cooler with Pam is such a softball, I thought Cy Young threw it.

:rotflmao:  :rotflmao:  at your wife actually saying "WTF?"
That isn't realistic. That's just the version that would play in my head. My wife wouldn't know what that meant because I'm not one of those lame ### pansies that let's his wife know about this place.
Good posting. WhoTF would ever want their wife hanging around. 4-9 in my last 13 games. All of a sudden my team suxors.

I wonder if Nipsey is a better shot than this guy:

Krzyzewski, who also debuted in an American Express ad during the Duke-UNC broadcast, said the Allstate spot was filmed in less than a day in Orlando. "I was behind a fence. I felt like some guy lurking," he said. "Actually it was a lot of fun. The guy shooting the ball missed about 12 in a row, so it was like, 'Is there anyone who can sub for him?' And they said, 'No, he's the guy.' "So I said, 'That's all right, come over here, let's talk about it. There's no pressure on you. You aren't really in the game; you're in a damn driveway. Each shot you take, don't let it be cumulative. You're not 0-for-12 now -- these guys are telling you you're 0-for-12 -- but you're 0-for-0.' "Then he hit about 10 in a row."

That player really "laughed for five minutes" after seeing that commercial? Is it that funny? I think it's kind of lame to be honest.Being the guy who makes the shot in that ad HAD to be nerveracking, especially with Coach K asking if they can replace him (was he serious?). If the guy doesn't make that shot, and they do replace him in the spot, he could lose in upwards of 20K. Talk about pressure.....
