*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (6 Viewers)

Trying to carry on with business as usual but having to put people  in their place, apparently. Strange time to come after me, really.

Must have been a bad weekend.
You are the one on the attack.  Wu-banger was posting in here before you were old enough to use the internet.  This thread has been around a lot longer than you.

I didn't attack anyone. I told dude it would be more helpful if he posted spreads like everyone else in the thread does. I was 1 of 2 people who even engaged him at all.

He could have ignored me or said, "no thanks". Dude replies by insulting me, so of course I'm going to put him in his place. I don't care who he is or how long he's posted. I've been posting religiously in this thread for the past 5 years and never noticed him.

My CFB plays went 5-2 (with a +165 hit), so he can take his crappy attitude along with his buddies and go somewhere else. We won't miss them.

Gentlemen - there is an NFL FOOTBALL GAME this evening and baseball - let's focus on that and save the stooooooopid arguments for when there is nothing good to bet on...

Haven't looked into it yet, but am considering a Jake Arrieta fade. The guy seems very emotionally driven.

So like, when he's on he's on and when he's off, he's way off. Plus, he just got paid. I mean, I'm sure he's still trying but probably not as hard as if the Phillies were in playoff contention.

Speaking of which, the Rockies are playing for a division title.

Check out those lineups.

Come on ladies settle down.  This isn’t the Shark Pool.

Id probably shoot someone right about now if I had the Phillies over 78.5.

Actually, looks like Arrieta has owned the Phillies.

10 runs on 89 AB against current Rockies lineup.

ETA:

However, he gave up 5 ER in Colorado last year.

F5 - Rockies / Phillies O6, -105

Me: Posts plays everyday.
Lambskin & Lumpy: Never post plays.

Lambskin & Lumpy: Hit 0% of their plays.

Me: Frequently wins on plus money.
Lambskin & Lumpy: Don't even try to hit plus money.

Me: Writes analysis for my plays.
Lambskin & Lumpy: Provide no analysis or plays.

Me: Is nice to everyone and has nobody on my ignore list.
Lambskin & Lumpy: Are mean to winning bettors and has them on their ignore list. Then beg Swirve for prop bets.

Good thing they can't read this!

I'll buy that +3 on the Raves w/ you. Just waiting on the reduced juice to pop. Also - after looking at those SNF games in which the opposing team was coming in on 5 days rest, looking forward to betting Raves o24 and o30 as well. Hopefully the book reciprocates with a couple fat payouts, looks like the o24 will be in the -110 range. You can see what the two teams did on SNF in the exact same situation W14 last season..

:lmao:

I literally post more plays than anyone else in this thread at a higher winning percentage than anyone. Nobody in here gives a #### about you.

I'm trying to teach you how to gain some semblance of credibility. But if you're too lazy to post the spread you played, nobody is going to give a #### about you or your plays.

You're throwing a hissy fit because I recommended you post the spread you played. Anyone with half a brain will see how ridiculous you're being. You've shown that you're lazy and emotional. Not good attributes for sports betting.

If you want to apologize, stick around. Otherwise take your tough guy act somewhere else.
OK, I'm sure nobody thought I'd just sit by and let this one fly. Let me clear up a few things for the new guy, or not new, WuTang or whatever.
Comment number 1-Em posts more plays than anybody-True at a higher winning percentage than anyone-LAUGHABLE. I've actually numerous
times offered to go head to head with him and he's chosen not to numerous times. Another fact-I don't consider myself one of the best gamblers
in this thread. Nobody gives a #### about you..............probably true right now, but I'd also say very few give a #### about Em's picks either. Maybe
a couple.

Comment number 2-Being emotional is not a good attribute for sports betting..............True. Em is DEFINITELY the most emotional "gambler" in this
thread. Countless times when losing a bet he's gone on a rant about said sport being "fixed" before continuing to bet on it. He also has had numerous
accounts suspended where he's had to over and over and over come back with an alias after emotional outbursts. The last one resulted in me having
my account briefly suspended for the first time in my life after I engaged with him and he called me a homophobic slur that is another word for something
that starts fire.................his last account was perma banned

Comment 3-Apology and tough guy act...............that's pretty rich coming from Em.

That being said, I've made my peace with him, I take everything he says with a grain of salt. He's a kid who last I checked lives at home with a gambling
problem, I'm guessing who backs his habit with credit cards, but I could be wrong. His methodology is to try to win 5 or 6 bets in a row by increasing his
amount of bet over and over again. It gets him some big paydays but everyone who's done this any amount of time knows it's not a long term winning
strategy. He does like to brag about his big days but is typically fairly silent on the other days. You want to know what Em is really good at? The NBA.
If he'd just stick to the NBA and not act like a jackwagon 90% of the time he'd have lots of fans in here. Unfortunately that's not what he does. Know him
for what he is, if you want to post, post. You'll either gain respect in here or you wont, and most of us won't give a #### either way.

Good luck.

PS. I also have a gambling problem. Not on credit card gambling problem. But a gambling problem none the less :)

Hey Gus remember when you bet the Dak Prescott for ROY future and in February after you won you had to go meet some random man in the Walmart parking lot that you'd never met before and he handed you an overflowing plastic sack full of hundred dollar bills that was a pretty good story.

It was in a pizza joint parking lot lol. Then I had to lie to the bank about where the $ came from. Wish I could do that again lol

Mets / Braves U26 HRE, -120

No Freddie Freeman in this game. Below 70 degrees in New York. Neither team really playing for much.

Teheran has a 1.69 ERA against the Mets this year. In his starts against the Mets, HRE under of 26 went 2-1. Vargas has a 3.11 ERA in his last 5 outings. In his starts against the Braves, HRE under of 26 went 2-1.

@gussy

I've changed my betting style recently. I still double-down but once I go 2-0, I bank the money. Or, if I'm 1-0 but there's nothing worth betting on then I don't double-down either. A little more discretion. It takes longer to build up funds but the swings are much less volatile. It just didn't make sense to double-down on every play, as that implies that each play I make is stronger than the last.

In fact, the plays sometimes got weaker as I would stretch for things to bet on to "finish the ripper". I'm also taking more plus money as I'm not afraid it's going to "ruin my winning streak". 2-0 is realistic a more realistic metric because in theory it's in or around 66% if you hit it every time. If you're going OVER 50%, that means you're winning 2 bets in a row at some point.

Which if that's the case, means you can benefit from a little double-down action.

Look at our little Em. All grown up.

Min +7 - 110

Teaser Min +13/Over 42.5

I also played over 49.5 a couple of days ago ( and forgot about it... :bag:  )

Vikings had 6 rushing attempts on Sunday - the lowest in franchise history and tied for an NFL record for the fewest attempts in a game.
Since 2004 underdogs who attempted 10 or fewer rushes have gone 16-6 O/U in their next game (14-0 O/U scoring more than 13 points). The last time that situation occurred was also with the Vikings on Dec 24, 2016, as 7-point underdogs at Green Bay. sdql

Vikings/Rams o49 -101

Rams the side for me tonight because their coach can recall every offensive play he's run in the last 5 years and I can't get over that and it must be worth 7 points

They had a debate on the radio that if you could trade places with anyone in sports for the next 10 years you’d be hard pressed to find a better choice than Sean McVay

i took Vikings +7 and ML though

1H - Miami Hurricanes -10, -110

From my understanding, Miami will score touchdowns and North Carolina will score field goals.

:lmao:   It's even funnier now that this was his only season with a 3-digit QBR.

Hard not to think that Minny just assumed Bills were roadkill and were totes focused on tonight. Which would not be Zimmer’s MO....but here we are.
