*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (3 Viewers)

I started to tag you, but hell we've all done it by now.  I did it myself at another book this morning.  :lmao:
Makes you wonder how many 1000's the public bleeds this way.  They should take the season bets down 48 hours before the race.

This is like a company setting its hold times to 10 seconds after the average person hangs up....just ain't right!

Last few times I've been there the casino lines where softer than the online books for race winners.  Planet Hollywood has been my favorite place for NASCAR.
Larson did open at 6-1 but it got bet down to 5-1 already.  Most lines seemed to mimic what's online

heand if you believe in magic, Dale Jr +3600, having a terrible final season but he has won 2/5 races here at this track and has the best avg finish over that time period.

.5 units Dale Jr +3600

You know what is good is when your woman is also a good friend. She is so dope. She is just cool, like sunglasses cool. Number two chick and she does things to my body. About to order some food and watch MLB the only thing I ate since Friday is a burger Friday night. I didn't even eat yesterday - just drank. I was throwed yesterday, like apology throwed. :oldunsure:

Got about an hour to handicap a fresh game.

Still kinda cloudy in my brain. Since 2012 LAD 28-12 SU at home when they're about to have a day off to travel. Day games in that spot went 14-2 SU (14-0 SU when the oppo scored < 11 runs). Also Ryu 21-11 SU (10-0 SU home) on more than 4 and less than 11 days rest.

Dodgers -176

Go on....
Unless he gets a caution before he pits, he's going to lose about 10 spots in track position.  He's been driving that car hard, with his crew chief and 2 crew members suspended, they are acting like a pit road mishap is just a matter of time.  With strategy so important in this race, you really aren't doing yourself any favors running 1st the before the last stage.

Got it.  I keep wishing for more cautions and more pit stops to increase the risk of that pit stop incident, but no dice yet.

We are going to have some temperature failures late it seems.  AC units not working (A Dillon).  Radios are going out. (Blaney)

I'm guessing the teams used a lot more aggressive brake package then before because they would have time to cool between stages.  The only thing I can come with on why everyone is having brake issues.

I only put $20 on each, but would love to cash Larson or Kenseth since RB didn't have half the matchups. Think we have a shot for either of them to win?

There are about 6 different strategies in place so just having a dog in the race is a good place to be.  A couple more cautions could flip the whole race on it's head again.

Brad's strategy still worked out, Ford's have been getting better gas mileage the last couple years.

ETA:  Fuel mileage technology sure didn't carry over to my Lincoln though.

Not having a crew chief is a major issue in Pocono.
I'll take the matchup sweep.  Awesome that worked out for you brother!

Sure feels like a new age of NASCAR is upon us this season.  Blaney for Championship has some legs.  His ford is nearly identical to Brad's and Joey's.

Yep, this looks to be a pretty popular win among the younger drivers.  Hate missing out on his 1st win after coming close with him a few times.

I always bet 1 guy to win, had Blaney +2000 in my cart and changed it to Kes +650 last minute.  Real nice race by Blaney

:D   That was definitely a fun one.  I think my wife was more excited than I was.  I hope we're there to celebrate Chase's first one too.
I was thinking during the 2nd stage today that I need to make a point of that, his Infinity career was very similar though.  Once it rained, it poured.

Dammit.  I think I remember seeing something like +3000 at DSI and thinking about it.  Doh

I do have a small screwup season bet on Blaney at +5500.  I don't mind that mistake now that he's officially in the chase.

I'm a firm believer that this information is out there for all of us, we just don't know how to interpret it.

My best days are usually preluded by deja vu.

:tinfoilhat:

We create our own realities.  Stay positive.  Be kind.

ETA:  Love the fact that he's racing with an old school team like the Wood Bros and his team couldn't hear him on the radio the entire race.  On pit stops he was pounding the hood if the car was tight or banging the door panel if it was loose.  70s style.
