Gaethje wants to stand in the pocket and have a sledgehammer fight.  Works great for crushing cans, but Johnson is on a different level athletically.  That said he is 1-3 last 4 fights, and I've said the same thing about Lawler and lost money as well.  I want to root for Gaethje, line did open at Gaethje -240 so its about as big of a swing we've seen in MMA.  Everyone seems focused on the athletism angle.

Verlander has been awful this year and struggles a lot against Cleveland. 

Add to that Cleveland has beaten Detroit 3 out of the last 4 and owned the Tigers last year as well. This is interesting - I was listening to the game in the car last Sunday while the wife napped  and it was mentioned that  Verlander did not strike anyone out during his last start  (also v. Cleveland)).. for the first time in 331 starts which had him tied for 6th all time with Curt Schilling. Found the article after the game here:
