Bills ML was the right play because the line was +1000. Any given Sunday. You take any NFL line at +1000, even if you only put $5 on it.
The players know the spreads. They feel disrespected. That game becomes their Super Bowl.
It's sports psychology.
Exactly. The exact same reason numerous people were on Arizona. First off, the difference between Minny and Buffalo is FAR greater than the
difference between DEN and AZ. Historically 44% of away teams cover on Thursday night. I don't know anyone that thought Cards beating DEN
would be a huge upset, or even an upset at all. Was it a game I would have played on a Sunday? Probably not, no interest in betting on bad teams
playing each other. Was it worth a small dollar parlay action play on a boring Thursday night? Sure. Are you some sort of genius because you have
Cardinal jerseys and you made what was probably a negative EV bet? No. You hit a bet. I'll pretend that you know more about AZ because you are
a fan. I sometimes feel like I have an advantage when betting Husker hoops or foots or Blackhawks or Cubs, although my record on Husker hoops
certainly wouldn't show it. Doesn't change the fact that it wasn't some brilliant bet on your part. I'm glad you won. You need to learn to not be a jerk
by dropping in her acting like a know it all when you know a whole lot of guys on the board are on the other side, I'm sure for far more than I ever was
since mine was just a stupid parlay bet. That's all I was ever really trying to say. Be better. Joe jumped me for not "being excellent to you". You are
rarely "excellent" to anyone on this thread or any other, which is why you're on your, what? 10th alias?
