*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (4 Viewers)

I'm playing Louisville 1st Half +9½ +120 and then laying whatever the points are in the 2H on Notre Dame. I think it's close at the half and then Louisville gets blowed the #### up in the 3Q..
Original, pregame 3Q spread was ND -4.5 -125

I think the 3Q total of 13.5 is right on target, and that ND will score all the points in the 3Q

@ValSepara After sleeping on it, I have to believe  SDSU's offensive display last night was an orchestrated performance to give UCLA nothing to gameplan. Rocky Long is playing 3-D Chess and everyone else is playing checkers.
San Diego State +230

Could someone please PM me the best way to get money into an account to do some sports betting like any adult should be able to do?  I live in Colorado and got turned down to deposit funds at one site and want to find a way to do this before the NFL season begins.  Thx in advance.

I can buy weed and edibles but I guess putting a bet on an NFL game is a bridge too far here still.

So... recently I went coinmama -> blockchain -> 5d and then got emailed one of these exact messages. Looks like a simple intermediary is super trackable. And that's all we've been doing. From that thread:

I don't even know what a Samourai, Wasabi, or HD wallet is..
:ninja: :whoosh:
I've always used blockchain as well, I've even done a few direct from book->gemini, never used coinmama

Admittedly I'm very conservative with moving money around, I try not to leave blockchain unless that money is going to my bank account for good.

BM still takes any international MC without additional fees.

Lines aren't as good as 5d or bv but they won't have me.

I tried the Wasabi desktop wallet. If you ever need an anonymous intermediary I guess that's it. You generate your own wallet, fund it, and then do a thing called Coin Join: a trustless method for combining multiple Bitcoin payments from multiple spenders into a single transaction to make it more difficult for outside parties to determine which spender paid which recipient or recipients. Then you get the "clean" bitcoin back and send it wherever you want to.. I feel like Sandra Bullock in The Net right now :oldunsure: Freaky.
Dark web has also always had "mixing" services mainly used to get money out of the dark markets, or so I've seen in documentaries.  Was this incident with 5d by chance?  There could be a rat in their house, especially if you've been along term winner.  They made up some bs with me when they gave me the boot and claimed I was now on some sort of "black list".  This was about 4-5 years ago.

The wallet trace is unusual indeed.  Did by chance you have the wallet and gambling account under the same e-mail account or user name?  "I've heard of guys using burner blockchain wallets using burner emails, and they don't get paid to the same wallet they send from.  Use wallets for 2-3 transactions and then abandon.  Just keep several offline backups of all the logins and don't save anything to a PC that hasn't been encrypted.

Speaking of CO, I want to road trip to the Eisenhower Tunnel and back sometime in the next week or two to clear my head before health insurance open enrollment.

Anyone between Wisconsin to there that is up for a beer on hooter, and some crazy stories on a Wed/Thurs night that's between WI and CO (MN,IA,NE, CO).  Holler at your boy.  It would be really really cool if I could make some CO friends, I'll explain over cocktails.

Em, is still the only person I've ever actually met in person on this board.

the book to gemini was probably the only risky transactions, but most of the time the books change their addresses often and send/receive it in blocks of transactions.  Seems like a guy would have to get flagged by the book and they made the coin service aware "in good faith"  :lmao:  in an effort to scare you away.  "This guy I know" has always sent from coin platform to blockchain to gaming site, and never a problem, "is what he told me once", but he has used mixers to get larger amounts secured.

Otherwise, there are a few places/guys out there that will always exchange cash for BTC at 99%-105% market when it comes to getting it out.  If anyone ever wants to get deep in the subject, for information purposes only of course.  Let me know.

Most coin purchasing platforms, Coinbase in particular, which is where this guy i know bought from exclusively for a few years now since the other 3 or 4 either went defunct or just are't worth his time.   When purchasing BTC, stay under 3k a transfer (every 3 or 4 days) and " the guy I know" always made his deposits under 2500 because the banks have some additional discretion as well.  Otherwise you risk opening a line of communication between the coin platform and the Feds, and they both can make your life a nightmare.

My door is open. Anyone with a cash/btc problem can contact me in discretion for +ev advice, as always..  Between lawyers and taxes my education on the topic has literally cost me about 6x what I paid for my university Finance degree.

Dropped out of all but 1 fantasy league this year.  Going to put that money into Draftkings.  I have not followed this thread much but am going to start.  Any advice for an NFL Draftkings rookie?

The only way I guy could get a decent ROI is to play the larger 50/50's.  Stick to limits where you can play your max limit of teams for the tournament.  Don't be the guy entering 3 lineups in a 50 max.  Play several different levels if you have the bankroll, competition doesn't always correlate the best with lineup price.  Hit or miss guys usually have lower ownership as owners take less risks at the $50+ leagues.

Take it with a grain of salt because I don't really have much of a NFL track record on there.  In PGA/MMA/NASCAR my ROI is about double on 50/50's compared to multi-entry, but pulling down a big one could change all that, until then I'm just a casual multi-team player.  and I usually play in the 100-or more sized tournaments.

Would be curious if anyone has had longterm success in the smaller tournies

Can you unpack this piece?  My brain can't figure out why that's so important in a 50/50.  I can get there on the big tournies but can't figure out the 50/50.

Don't the Packers always start out sh*tty and then the fans get afraid, and then Aaron Rodgers has to hold a press conference and tell them to relax because everything's going to be okay? Since they started NFL kickoff Thursday, historical trends say that the home team has a big advantage. Also this will be head coach's first NFL game, which has also been a historical disadvantage. The new DC in Chicago also strikes me as an advantage, too. Lean Bears and under on Thursday because I think 1) Aaron Rodgers' team total will be overvalued in the public game and 2) Packers defense will be better this season just with the regression factor, not to mention the work they put into it in the draft and offseason. How do you feel, does anyone agree with this stuff?

BOLD: Totes agree.

Italics: Totes disagree.  I think the Bears will REALLY miss Fangio, and are bound to regress.  I'm fading them all season.  Took Pack +3 so....congrats!

  • The last time the Dolphins failed to cover in the opener was 2012. They're 5-1 SU and 6-0 ATS in G1 the L6 seasons, the only loss coming in 2016 at Seattle (-10) by a score of 12-10. Miami 19-9-2 ATS in G1 the L30 seasons (1st NFL).
  • Doug Marrone succeeded Chan Gailey as HC of the Bills in 2013, was hired as an assistant in JAX in 2015 before becoming HC in 2017. In those six seasons his team went 9-3 ATS in the first two weeks of the season and 9-0 ATS scoring 20+ points. Jags are lined to score 24 points this week. Jacksonville 15-8-1 ATS in G1 since they joined the NFL in 1995 (2nd NFL).

Anyone know what kind of props draft Kings has offered? I've been made aware a casino not far from me has a sportsbook being run by DK

ravens 8-3 ats with harbaugh in wk 1 and allowed 10 total points past 3 season openers.   They play hard in preseason and it carries over

damn. I was gonna try and sneak a Dolphins ML in there. not anymore. Ravens been real strong to start the season. And their division matchups don't come until week 4,5,6. They been strong on grass away too, fwiw. Just crossed Dolphins off my W1 list. I'll tell you where Ravens might let down is at Seattle in W7 before the bye week after going week 4,5,6 consecutive division games. All the way @Seattle before the bye week might be a little let down game. Then host Patriots after the bye.

Maryland jumping the fence vs Syracuse had that “somebody just knows something” feeling to it.  Kind of like Illinois last week.

Twins Red Sox overs all day long with Porcello off extra rest plus Boston off the day off..
Lost this by the hook yesterday. Rolling the dice again today. It's a little rain delay, expected to be breif, with both starters getting their normal routine in; two dudes that are top-10 in the MLB for run support this year. Berrios has gone .667 to the over, receiving 162 runs of support in his 27 starts (9th MLB) and Rodriguez has gone .704 to the over, receiving 200 runs in his 27 starts this season (1st MLB). And before you want to tell me not to cap based on run support I'll confess to being an action junkie that like to root for runs whaaat.

Twins/Red Sox o11 -120

FYI, the expected high Sunday for the 1 PM visit of the Kansas City Chefs (great googly moogly)  to Duuuuuvalll is 95.  That's temp not the silly FeelsLike number the Weather Channel. Hopefully the humidity isn't too bad in Florida ....Ha!

No idea what the betting angle would be but I would think unders.

THERE HE IS!😃

Going to AC with some friends this weekend. Besides exploiting all of the risk free bets and 1x rollover bonuses, player props are up and wide open in terms of prices and limits. Legalization really is glorious, and will poke my head in here more during the season to tail and post some questionable wagers.

Starting that off with Hawaii -6.5 vs. Oregon State, I'm so mad I missed the -4.5 open but I'm going heavy on this. Like Rodgers u270.5 tomorrow night too, Parx is the last of the PA casinos with a risk free I haven't hit yet because it wouldn't let me sign up in the app until today.

Consider the over as well.  Beavs can score and can't defend.

When I was in AC last week, I booked a bunch of week 1 plays including:

Chicago -3

Chicago/GB UNDER 46

I see Rodgers struggling tonight and for the Bears to get Montgomery heavily involved.  Lots of talk of easing back on Tarik Cohen.
