Lando's mistake, but I think McLaren need to have better race directions. Letting them race could have taken out both cars there. And THAT’S why I’ve been posting every race about how stupid it is that the F1 teams don’t lay down the law when dictating team strategy
They're awful right now. Charles' radio was sad to listen too lol

I think they need to focus on racing each other on Saturday, and following team orders on Sunday.
which would then likely send Russell to Aston Villa,
oops - actually not sure they have room for his wages...which would then likely send Russell to Aston Villa,
This would be quite a coup for Unai Emery
Cadillac starts next season, right?I think the only new faces on the grid will be Arvid Lindblad to whatever Racing Bulls is called next year and possibly Paul Aron to the perpetual hot second seat at Alpine.
Irishman Alex Dunne has been very impressive as a F2 rookie but he's a McLaren junior with nowhere to go.
I kind of agree - but Wolff looks like he can't keep his eyes off Max.Would Max want to mess with the Mercedes' car specs in a way that would make it difficult for the second driver, giving them the same problem Red Bull has? It's something to think about.

Seems like a veteran such as Perez or Bottas is likely to be in one of the seats.
I would not bet against him this week. Hard to know which Ferrari team shows up though.
Nice result for Hulk to finally get on the podium.
His first teammate in F1 was Rubens Barrichello who once shared the track with Sonny Hayes.
Awesome for his first ever podium, but shame on all three McLaren guys for completely ignoring and not giving Hulk the champagne dousing he should have received. Hulk looked pretty awkward up there with nobody to douse. Re-watch it and I think you'll agree.Very fun race, Hulk podium was awesome.
The cool down room was great too with Hulk not knowing to bring in his helmet.Nice result for Hulk to finally get on the podium.

Might be a reaction to Max telling RBR that he's going to Mercedes next season. Losing Max to Merc could have been the final nail in Horner's coffin.Big move. I assume this is an effort to keep Max at Red Bull. But, I can’t help but think this is just the first step in a Red Bull slide into the midfield.

Ugh supposedly apple has a huge bid in for the F1 rights
-QG
The only bad news from this is that it would likely mean the end of the F1 TV Pro package for US viewers.
Apple has submitted a bid worth at least $150 million a year to stream the races starting in 2026. And ESPN isn’t going to try to match or beat that, according to a source familiar with negotiations.
So barring a last-minute change, it looks like Apple, which already has deals to stream some pro baseball games, and all of Major League Soccer’s games, will have a third sports streaming offering next year.
I hope there is another option. I won't be subscribing to AppleTV.![]()

Earlier this week, the Financial Times reported that Apple was in active negotiations to acquire the streaming rights for Formula 1 in the United States.
Business Insider now builds on that report and says that “barring a last-minute change,” Apple is poised to secure this deal.
From today’s report:

I fear this will be the end of F1TV in the US - and I wonder where its primary market will be.
Really enjoyable time even if every sports movie cliche was used and you suspend your F1 disbelief for 2 hours. Finally going to the F1 movie tonight![]()
