Official Game Thread: Week 1 - Ravens @ Broncos (1 Viewer)

This could e a season for the ages for manning...never in his career has he had this many weapons at his disposal.
wat
just 2 of the top 15 WR yardage leaders of all time and dallas clark all at once. not much
Are you going to argue that Harrison/Wayne/stokely/Clark was more talented than DT/decker/welker/JT?Perhaps more accomplished over their careers yes....that's a given since they have played longer...but on a physical talent level?

Please dude...
clark > julius - rotfl YES
A wee bit early for a rotfl considering Clark caught 25 balls at the same age as Thomas

When does Ray Rice garbage time start?
This is intriguing to me. The last two BAL series had no Ray Rice. He's their best weapon and instead Flacco is trying to air it out like Manning... They need to go back to their game plan and play run football. They are only down by 3 scores.... If they can sustain two drives and prevent, they could be back in the game... plenty of time yet.

I have looked down at the time remaining about 20 times now and thought, "3rd quarter? STILL!?"

I wonder how big of favorites Denver will be when they face Oakland and San Diego at home.
I mean, we might get into college spread territory. Remember when they gave 10.5 on the road @ Oakland last year and won by at least 3 TD's? This offense is better and they're at home.

Flacco is so grossly overpaid.

Edit: I'm a RN, not a NFL GM but would it have made any sense at all to let Flacco walk since there was already a changing of the guard? It's hard to justify that money to a slightly above-average QB.

Might as well put Pierce back in if the RB is only going to stay in to block so Flacco can keep launching 30+ yd bombs w/ a <10% probability of success. To guys like Stokely & Clark.
