Official Great Works Draft (2 Viewers)

Winning...or caring about winning...an internet draft? Should that break the top 5/50/500 most important things in your life?

I've learned a lot of new stuff, been reminded of things I forgot about, forged or cemented ifriendships, pizzed a few others off...its all good.

All experiences have value so long as you are learning or growing; that has nothing to do with winning/losing/ranking.
except for the GAD... that mattered! :kicksrock:
This draft might matter... Ill decide after the draft is over.
Right now it sorta kinda matters, but not all that much. About 85% of the amount the GAD mattered.

When you get the final wildcard rankings, don't blame me. Send your complaints to Randomizer.org.
I'm letting my 9 yr old rank Compositions. I believe his criteria is cool names and "stuff being loud."
I might have a good shot now.
I hear Mahler was the wild rocker of the classical composers.
his 4th is TOTALLY like Tull.
Almost took that one, actually. Would've given my composition picks some bonus points for the TURN THAT #### UP factor.

Maybe - but there is something about a pack of nerds laughing at me, because I state my opinions and stick to them, that pissses me off.

All I have I have done is try to draft here to win, and overcome the odds, and maybe because I am passionate about anything I commit myself to, it has made me a target.

A target for people that would never dare to be so insulting in person, but like to :lmao: on the net.

I actually feel sorry for you, especially the ones like bobbylayne who I thought were above the lunatic fray
Tides, I have played with you a little here, but I have not insulted you. Neither has anyone else here to my knowledge. But I have to say, you have been insulting from time to time. Not to me, but certainly to Oliver Humanzee.
:goodposting: My evening:

sucessfully prepared beef wellington (actually, multiple day project - & it came out perfecto)
playing with my ridicuously happy 9 month old princess
third early eveing shower followed by spectacular sunset from the roof deck in the last week
several glasses of Saint Emilion

watching Tides melt downLife is good.

 Probably a '91.
Melt Down?? Not really - I am just competitive to the extreme.

I think I have maximized my abilities in certain areas, but not without a price.

I have a couple of nice and large houses, some other material things, but the nature of the game was such that I lost out on some other things.

I have done well in some areas, and failed miserably others - and my success has been tempered with the knowledge that many who purport to be friends are just users, looking for a handout.

That is a hard and bitter reality to swallow.

Fake relationships and phony friends are far more hurtful and debilitating than none at all.

I am not going to post anything more here tonight - but would like to say that I have not meant to be hurtful to anyone personally.

I have opened a bottle of Dominus, and am going to take it, a glass, and my Boxer down to the pond, and watch the stars move.

Salut!

You're making a late push for a high ranking in the drafters category. By the way, don't think I wouldn't look you in the eye to insult you...I might need a chair to do it but I'd still do it. :lmao:
  :lmao:

tim and MfB, are any of your non-fiction picks by or about black people? Please let me know, as it will make my rankings easier.
The Talmud was written by an angry Black man. Maimondes X.
:lmao: Maybe it's just the wine talking, but I think this is the best day of the entire draft for pure comedic value.
 :lmao: <_< (I had 4...you?)
How many does sangria count as? Oh nevermind. Still more than 4. It feels like almost a holiday weekend already. :)

Which ones were yours?
ok, those are the ones i posted.

I've never seen anyone compete harder in an internet message board draft.
It's stuff legends are made of.
The stakes are high here, boys.
Did Abrantes ever make his 60th pick? Did we actually finish?
Since people are so willing to help thatguy with his makeup picls, can someone please just help out with a Philosophical/Political Idea to close this mutha out?

NO HELPING OTHER PEOPLE!!!How can we declare a fair winner?!?!?!?!

Also, I dunno. I tried to give you inventions and scientific discoveries, but since my picl of "democracy" could rank no better than sixth, I don't trust my instincts in this area.
