I spelled out Christina earlier then saw all the Christine posts and thought I had it wrong.

Anyway, she is winning easily like I said. Justin not vocal enough, Christina/e much more organized also. Those two are the final though.

Well painted on jeans and all Dana picked a bad night to have a bad night. She failed her test at the pass but otherwise ran it fine. Barbie yelling at the guests was hilarious and then to have her question Dana on how often she had run a pass just showed her lack of awareness. And I think Dana got a bad rap on the fish station. She told them how long she needed and they just ignored her. Still she came off looking bad regardless. Christina and Justin going forward. And since I have developed a personal dislike for Justin(he's just so dooshy) I am rooting for Christina.

Dana's screaming at the camera confessionals were worth it all season for the one she did facing the other way making fun of Barbie.

Well we ended up with the two we thought. I look at these teams and for the most part they are useless. Dana was a good pick for Christina though.

Based on the previews not sure about that.. Could be just editing, but after the way Dana acted during the last episode, which IMO is what costs her a chance at the final two, I could see her being a problem taking directions. Her and Clemenza have issues taking directions/orders from the other contestants..

Really hoping Clemenza gets booted before the cooking even starts he is just dead weight at this point. :bye:

See I don't think she was trying to hurt anyone. I think she just picked a bad night to have a bad night.

Typical Jersey girl...talented, but ultimately can't take direction or deal with authority. Especially when that authority is perceived as an equal

 I thought her attitude stunk.. Her comment of "It will be done when it's done" with a  ticked off Ramsey and Justin and, IMO, costs her the final 2.From the previews the assistant cook goes after her for questioning Christina..

again, could be editing..

I didn't see the previews. On the "it will be done" thing she did tell them 6 minutes and they immediately started telling her to make it quicker. With Ramsey you better cook it right. I didn't take it as meaning to tick anyone off.

Well Dana made me look bad with her arguing. Still in the end it worked out. The right person won. If I were Christina I'd take the money and run screw the "mentored" position.

The way he stated last night as he was announcing the winner was..
and the winner, and my new head chef in Las Vegas, with a salary of 250k is....
If the show's contract stated it that way then I don't think she has a choice..

In reading about the past winners it seems some took the money but not the job. And for those that took the job they were basically glorified line cooks. If they let me take the money and split I would.

Pretty obvious who was going to win. I think Justin blew it with his attitude during the final service. There's more to the job than yelling "But I NEED it now!" and "Push it through!" It's just a bad imitation of what people think Ramsey is like. But yelling "I don't care, make more now!" when you're told there are no more ribeyes in the kitchen isn't productive.

In his defense I don't think he heard her say she was out. I think he thought she meant she had none cooking. He seemed to get it the second time she said it. And really I assumed it would be Dana or Christine from early on. The guys were just overall weaker as a group. I wouldn't have been surprised by an all girl final.

She beat him on both steak dishes in the final challenge. Assuming the winner will actually work at the steak restaurant, that was a big win.

They get $250k for winning, with the option to take a job in his kitchen. There is no position titled 'head chef' in his restaurants. A few past winners have taken the money and ran.

#### yes Chef! #### what is this? #### what is that? ####, where is the appetizer? ####, ####, ####... how does anyone watch this show?

The season 11 premiere is March 12!
just about there meet the contestants
I don't see any lookers. And a culinary student? She is going to go from class to running anything? I am sensing much drama and little skill.
And a lot of very large noses....I can't be the only one to notice some of those honkers
No you weren't. I guess we won't be olfactory deficient.

The blind taste test competition needs to be modified for sure...big big advantage for some of them

Why were there a ton of New Yorkers on there? Is that the only place they looked for people? I think half of the contestants are from New York or within a relatively short drive.

I completely this was premiering last night. Did I miss any good drama?
Not really. JP is back.Felt like they just said "eff it" in regard to keeping up any pretense that it's not heavily scripted. Really stupid signature dish challenge in front of a live audience, with canned one-liners from Ramsey and the contestants. JP "sneaking" into the dining room behind Ramsey's back, and taking a terrible pratfall. On the plus side, the risotto is a different color this season.

I do like JP better than the other guy. Glad to hear they changed up the risotto.
