I just remembered something, the scene with Hiro and the dinosaur, he obviously did not have the sword (just the sheathe), but in the painting, wasn't the sword drawn? Was that an artistic inconsistency or is there a different future event involving Hiro and a Dinosaur?
I think it was just Issac's interpretations of what he saw. He may have seen Hiro with the sword in hand and assumed he was holding the entire sword, not a fake in the sheath.
I just checked it and the painting definitely is not him holding the sheath, but I am pretty sure we have seen that the paintings are potential outcomes and may not be 100%. Based on the fact that they go out of their way to show Hiro holding up the sword next to the dinosaur, that painting is definitely of that scene, i.e. not a future time where Hiro actually goes back in time to the Jurassic age.Maybe it is possible that the original sword was there and that it was replaced more recently by Linderman? He is way to interconnected with all of the characters to not have any idea what is going on. We have no idea who he is, but there is no doubt now that he is a central figure and may have more to do with the bomb than Sylar does.Actually, I will just throw this out now, but I have a feeling Linderman is the guy or one of the guys controlling HRG.
i think this is why Simone is taking the painting with them to show linderman
No need to think about it. Simone said she would take Hiro with her since she sells Isaac's paintings to him and he has the sword. Peter has probably met Linderman a few times already just because his Dad worked with/for him before. I think that with all the goings on, they will start figuring out that Linderman isn't interested in Isaac's work or has Hiro's sword because he thinks they are cool.I think it will be pretty easy to see whether or not Linderman is a bad guy based on whether or not he gives the sword to Hiro. Linderman is probably not a total bad guy as if I am right that he is the guy that HRG reports to, then he is one of those quasi good guys who doesn't want to kill everyone (Sylar) but will "do what it takes" to get things under control.

Any chance the guy in the mural that Hiro's dad told bedtime stories about is actually Hiro?

He sports the same flavor saver that Future Hiro does.

Linderman is a crime boss. I don't buy he is good at some level. That is one of the cool things about this show - it's not good guys vs bad guys. You've got the soon to be band of heroes, the quasi-government organization (HRG), Linderman - the crim syndicate boss, probably in it for money and power - and Sylar, the crazed ego/megalomanic. There will be interactions between all but I don't think any of them are necessarily the "same" as any other.

Frying man :lmao:

Am I the only one who called the phone number on the card HRGs gave to Suresh?

Anyways, here is the website for Primatech Paper.

You can get a code to the job openings section by calling the phone number on the site. 1-800-prima16
Just trying to protect anyone here, but I saw nothing on that site that had NBC on it. I just remember that if you checked out the Lost web sites, there was usually a Disney reference in the privacy policies. Can anyone check it out in the registries to see who owns the domain? It has been a while since I did that, so I don't know if there is a good place now.It may be kosher, but that is a lot of personal info. I think the most that any of the Lost sites asked for was an email address to get there little emails.
Yeah, it's part of the show. Heroes films next door to my offices and the props storage area has been stocking up on custom-made Primatech boxes and fake rolls of paper all year.

I've watched this week's episode twice and there's something that I can't figure out and I was hoping could shed some light on:

How did the cheerleader end up meeting up with the guy who erases memories and why did she seem to remember some of what she went through? Like, them talking about her birth parents.

The scene seemed to just kind of been thrown into the middle of the episode without any real backstory, unless I'm forgetting or missed something.

What I recall from the last episode I saw (which was NOT this past episode), the mind eraser was sent to erase her mind and, instead, left her memory intact and told her some stuff about her birth parents, "because it was important that she remember and that she know"As of the end of that episode, her Dad did not know her memory was intact.

he didn't erase her mind.
Is this to be assumed? :mellow:I'm having a hard time remembering the details from before the hiatus.

I don't remember any of this, and I've seen every episode. I need to quit drinkin'.Thanks for the update. So, she knows and mind-eraser-guy knows, but HRG doesn't know that she has her memory intact, and she's playing it up in front of him?

he told her he was supposed to, but that he wasn't going to, I think you must have missed it from a previous ep.

Yup.I think it was the penultimate scene in the last episode before the hiatus - right after the cheerleader realizes her bro and her gay friend don't remember anything. She goes into her room, mind-eraser grabs her, and lays the speech on her.

probably a stupid question, but how doe Peter end up in the hospital?
He was sick from either radiation or Too many powers consumed at one time at the end of the last episode. They never explained what the issue was, just that he had a persistent fever and had been unconscious for quite some time.

The doctors did not know what was wrong with him. At one point Nathan mentioned that Peter told him he thought he was absorbing too many powers and couldn't control it. The weird thing is that when Peter was in the police holding cell and Claire went to talk to him, he was unable to absorb her healing powers and get better. This was after he came in contact with Matt and they both started to get shocked from dueling mind reading powers, about the time Peter started to feel side effects.

I would guess it's more from the fact that the Haitian was in the building/nearby as well, as his power dampening could throw havok into the power absorbtion.

Could be that he is entirely bad, but we know Hiro ends up with the sword and if he gives it to him, then I wouldn't say he is completely bad. I am just trying to say that I could easily see him being HRG's boss (or one of the bosses) just because of his connections to government officials (Nathan and his dad) and his obvious knowledge of the heroes. He obviously isn't a super nice guy, but we also know that HRG has "killed" people before for what he thinks is the greater good and he might end up helping the heroes. Now if he helps the heroes, he probably has some sort of alterior motive to make more money or align himself with the right folks. Also, didn't he already help Simone/Nathan out by giving them that painting of Peter?

this is the consistently best show on tv. Claires mom is like Pyro, Linderman could be her dad or maybe its nathan. The trailer showed someone in a fancy watch and shirt so who knows. I wonder what power Hiros dad has.

What power does Linderman have? Anyone think that Horn Rimmed Glasses is invincible? Remember how he said ill ALWAYS be there, i just felt that had more meaning to it than meets the eye.

I don't think HRG has any powers. They sure haven't alluded to it since the Haitian always seems to have his back. I think he was just trying to be a dad and he definitely is sensing a change in Claire. He saw the wind chime and I think he knew her memory wasn't wiped. Not sure how, maybe the Haitian's thing is collecting wind chimes? It seemed pretty obvious to me that they setup Linderman to be Claire's dad, hence his interest in all things Heroes as I am pretty sure he found out about the pyro mom. It will be interesting to see if Claire's mom becomes more of a central character. One would think that she has thought for 14 years that she killed her own daughter with not being able to control her own power. Now that she knows Claire is alive, she may awaken a bit.Linderman doesn't have to have a power though. When Nathan/Peter's mom talked about their dad she never mentioned she felt weird, only that their dad thought something was odd about himself. With the invisible man and Claire's mom we may finally start to see the first generation of heroes and maybe how they were created/occured.Awesome show, should be a good rest of the season. I think the only thing that might annoy me is Sylar. So he learned how to die from a cockroach? I have a feeling we won't learn a lot about how he was being held and controlled in there. To be honest, I think he may be the weakest character now that we know him. Not sure what his real power is, the whole watch maker thing/fixing his own brain isn't the best angle. I would rather him be a real powerful empath, who could somehow carry on other's powers longer. Oh well, maybe they will explaing that one better.

I bet Hiro's dad does not have any powers, it is just his Dad and he wants him to come home.
I think the first class tickets back to Tokyo are a dead giveaway. He may have a power though, chances are good that Hiro's mom and/or he have them. So far, all biological parents we have met seem to have had a power for one of the two parents or both. One funny thing is that unless he knows Ando well, there would be no record of Hiro ever going to the states.

Last ten minutes here in Denver - based on what I just read here, a lot must happen in the last ten minutes.

Another great episode.

I do have one minor complaint - Peter has been begging Nathan and Mohinder to help him since the begining of the season. now that they BOTH finally knock on his door to try and help him, he snubs them and runs away.

There was something very Locke/Jack about that scene that annoyed me. Youre all in the same room - talk, dammit!

to me it seemed like Peter wanted help in dealing with his powers, but now that he knows he is the cause fo the explosion i think he wants to keep nathan far away from him so as to not hurt him

:rolleyes:That's how I saw it, too.Good episode. Claire's father = Linderman or Nathan.

:lmao:That statement was meant for one thing and one thing only - he loves his daughter and will always be there for her. That's the only redeeming part of HRG"s character - he clearly loves Claire and will do anything to protect her.*IF* he has any powers, I suppose we'll see them pop out stupid fast next week. The only thing that bothered *me* in this episode was not Peter rejecting help - that makes sense. It was leaving one person guarding Sylar's body (the doctor). Even if they thought he was weak and dying or even if they thought he was dead, that is really sloppy for a quasi-governmental blacK opps project.

I agree that Claire's father is probably either Linderman or Nathan but did anyone get a good look at the watch? I know I'm reaching here but is there any chance that her father is Silar? The watch in the clip from next week wasn't similar to Silar's watch was it?

I thought it was a very good epi last night. Every show has questions but they seem to get answered in the next epi or 2 and it doesnt leave you feeling "lost." Anyway, did Mohinder say that there were 36 people on the list. I missed it and even though I have Tivo I forgot to rewind and hear again. 36 doesnt seem like that many. especially from that list that was being generated. Can someone please confirm or tell me what he actually said

Is Linderman is Claire's dad maybe that explains why HRG is trying to hide her powers from everybody. Because he doesnt want Linderman to realize that his daughter is actually alive.

Also, what the hell was that thing in the back of Sylar's head?

I think that was the"clockwork" begining to work again. Could be wrong though.

Just watched the show at NBC.com(Can't pass up watching 24 even if this show is great)..

Wondering how dad is going to respond to his son taking money from ATM machines.. His face will be all over the cameras that ATM machines have.. And if he doesn't end up "busting a nut" over his son stealing, then why didn't he use his walk through walls ability to do the same thing before now?

Didn't see the previews so no idea what they showed but I for one can't wait to see Sylar& Claires Dad go one on one.

Naw, better to use Works T1 line and waste away my first hour at work.Nothing like sitting back with some :lmao: , looking like I am working, while enjoying a good Heroes show to start my Tuesday morning off.

I thought I heard a clock ticking irregularly during that scene. Anyone else?

I wouldn't assume Mohinder's dad had a complete list of them. 36 confirmed, maybe, with more possible?

Many names on Mohinder's list say DECEASED.
