I kind of like it split up... the Prison Break/24/Heroes trifecta while most appreciated as a reward for having got through Monday is still a little bit of overload. Yeah - he was being killed because it was discovered that he was protecting someone and not turning them into the organization. I assume that someone is a current hero. Micah might make sense as it was about the time Micah would have been young, although I suppose it could be any of them.
